Yango is a ride-hailing service that operates mobility and delivery aggregators in 19 countries, including Ghana, Cote d'Ivoire, Cameroon, Senegal and Zambia.

Ride safely
Safety is our top priority. You’ll see who’s coming to pick you up and in which car right in the app. You’ll see the driver’s name and rating and be able to share your ride with whomever you like so they know where you are.
Smart destinations
Yango will suggest destinations for your taxi ride based on your ride history, like first offering ‘home’ as a destination because it’s your most common taxi order on weekday evenings. Ride t**** the smart way!
Multiple destinations, one route
The Yango taxi app makes everyday life easier. Like picking the kids up from school, dropping a friend off at a market, and doing some quick shopping on the way. Just add a new taxi order stop in the app, and Yango will recalculate a new route for the driver. That makes it even easier to ride a taxi.
Order for someone else
Yango lets you order friends and loved ones a ride by taxi. Get your mother to a doctor’s appointment with a taxi order. Send a taxi online to pick up your special someone. Or get each of your friends a ride home after a night out. You can order up to 3 cars at once.

The 30% (450 FCFA) discount is valid on the first three rides for new users in Douala and Yaoundé until 31.12.2023. Up to 30%/20% (max 400 FCFA/500 FCFA) discount is valid on the first three rides for new users in Bouake/Abidjan until 31.12.2022. Up to 50% (max 6 GHC/5 GHC) discount is valid on the first three rides for new users in Accra/Kumasi until 31.12.2023.
The 30% (max 10 EUR) discount is valid on the first three rides for new users in Helsinki until 31.12.2023. The 30% (max 100 kr) discount is valid on the first three rides for new users in Oslo until 31.12.2023.

1 ★ Worst experience. The cars are not maintained. Before booking the ride, the app shows a low estimated price, and the driver intentionally adds the 'wait time'. Then, when the ride is complete, the app shows a higher calculated price of the fare than the one shown before booking ride. What's even more bizarre, the app shows driver a different fare price and the rider a different price. And in the end, the rider has to pay the price that is shown to the driver. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS APP.
1 ★ WORST EXPERIENCE using this app. App can't pick up the right location and the driver asked me to change the location 3 times saying I didn't enter the right location as it was showing lower fare. I confirmed the location and asked him it is a little bit away he said okay that's not a problem and then he drived so bad. And on reaching he stopped the ride said the location ended here (when it was not even near the 3rd location I entered) and the fare was also higher
1 ★ By far, the WORST out of all the ride hailing services in Ghana. App is glitchy. GPS isn't always accurate. Their drivers take forever to arrive at the pickup point (I ALWAYS have to text and ask why they aren't moving before they start to move). Drivers are CONSTANTLY telling you they won't take the trip or go to your requested drop-off direction (if they have the courtesy to call or text you at all), or they'll literally get to/near the pickup point and then drive away without saying anything.
1 ★ Started off extremely ideal, accessible and convenient, but now there's insane overpricing of rides, why is that? - rides were cheap to move from area to area, now a price is shown with an apparent discount to a place literally a kilometer away but it's worth more than what you would pay for five people at once. That was a Hero to Zero move there, sorry. Can't even rate this. Namibia
1 ★ Terrible experience! Not recommended at all. I had a terrible experience with Yango The drivers never come on time and most of the time, they cancel rides at the 11th hour which inevitably affects the customers and let's just say that finding another ride isn't always the option for everyone especially at late hours of night. Cancelling rides at the 11th hour have led me to be late at my work several times. Indrive is much much better.
2 ★ Totally disappointed with the service and the application layout. It's really hard to find a driver with a sensible knowledge of using navigation and maps in Yango. Everytime use to guide the driver to reach the actual location, their application stucks and lag when searching the drop off location frequently.
1 ★ This is extremely frustrating; there is no customer service, no helpline, and no contact information for the company. People feel deceived, and the drivers often don't show up after confirming a pick-up, and they rarely cancel. Many times, their cars aren't even available, and it seems they lack the necessary cars for their service. There is a complete absence of experience and accountability. Such apps and services should be banned, and they should face consequences.
1 ★ Very bad service from yango. Me and my friend travelled through yango and were charged 400 extra for additional travel although our ride took less time and distance than shown. This is really a poor service and yango should be confronted because of this. Thanks and people dont use this application and use alternatives instead of this.
1 ★ Kindly update your maps. Problem in searching the location with names and It has problems with pickup location also. Drivers also took so much time to accept the request and after that they say to cancel the ride. Need many improvements in app.
1 ★ Most pathetic app, staring fare showing something else when ride ends fare was higher. I complaint many times they are accepting the drivers mistakes but no one is solving the issue only apologizing is not the thing. The thing is who is responsible for unfairly extra charges. Uber and Indrive both are excellent apps then this app
1 ★ I recently booked a ride on Yango, and I am quite disappointed with the service. The estimated fare displayed was 783, but upon completion of the ride, I was charged 952. This significant discrepancy is unsettling, and I feel compelled to share my dissatisfaction. While I understand that fare estimates may not always align perfectly with the final cost, a disparity of nearly 170 is disconcerting. I believe in transparent and fair pricing, and this experience has left me questioning.
1 ★ I have had a pretty good experience with yango until recently when I uninstalled my app because it was misbehaving but have failed to install it again. They are not send the code for verification. It's irritating
2 ★ Initially, I thought yango offered quite good prices compared to it's competitors but as I often started using it, the biggest issue has been the increase in original fare everytime. The drivers wether internationally or by mistake always stop 1 or 2 blocks away and takes forever to reach the actual pick up point which adds in 20-40 rupees of extra charges. This is the biggest drawbacks for a customer and should be immediately looked into.
1 ★ Terrible service. The drivers are not ready to give you the discount that the application is giving on first three rides. However, the least they can do is inform the passenger that they can't come. I booked rides twice. The first time, the gut refused and asked me to cancel. The second guy called and said he would arrive within 5-6minutes but he literally didn't show up even though the application showed that your ride has arrived. He refused to answer any calls or messages. Wasted my time!
1 ★ I booked a drive yesterday and I was find some difficulty to use the app so unfortunately I put wrong destination address when driver come i asked the driver that this thing is happening with me can you help me he said don't worry u can sit and nothing will happen u just pay your fair that shows on your screen when ride ends the bill was 3700 and I was shoked because the total bill when I use other drive like Uber r indrive is just 500 the distance is small but bill was too high bad experience
