Yahoo Finance: Stock News 13.17.3 APK requires following permissions:

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.

Allows an application to read from external storage.

Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

Required to be able to access the camera device.

Allows an app to access approximate location.

Allows access to the vibrator.

Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.

1 ★ Functioning poorly the last week or so. There is no color for a stock's performance (green & red) like before. Dark font is not pleasing on the eyes, very odd. Long time user will need to go somewhere else if this isn't corrected soon. Maybe the focus is on the new super duper $$$ web version that generates money? Disappointed!

1 ★ Galaxy S23 ultra. Fairly serious trader. I've used this app for over 10 years because it worked. Now it doesn't. It, more times than not, loads blank/black screens on every ticker. You have to minimize or change apps completely and re-open YF and then (sometimes) the graph / ticker page will load. I have to shut down the app 10+ times a day easily but that really doesn't even work. It's totally broken now to the point it's unusable for anyone who needs reliable and consistent market coverage.

1 ★ Chart data is no longer correct. Highs and lows erroneously change depending on time frame selected, e.g. if the all time high of a stock occurred in past 5 years, this value should be the same when time window selected is "5 years" compared to "Max". App now displays different values in this scenario, presumably because of sampling change. Please correct

5 ★ While I appreciate the new features in your recent app update, it seems to have introduced performance issues on my Pixel 7 Pro. The app lags significantly and sometimes even fails to load. I especially miss the color-coded stock prices from the legacy version, which were incredibly helpful. Would it be possible to consider reintroducing this valuable feature or offering an option for users to choose their preferred classic interface? 12/22: Kudos to entire team to bring the classic interface👏

1 ★ I have settings set to NOT auto play video yet all video and ads auto-play still. There are times I don't want sound disturbing others or what's going on around me. That's the whole reason for having autoplay turned off. Ads have become very intrusive blocking content or multiple ad pop-ups at sametime. Ap has gone downhill and the ad traffic is unbearable. Actively looking for a user friendly less ad intrusive ap.

1 ★ I don't like it. Too bright. The greens were better on top markst indicators. Change it back and get rid of the unnecessary remarks between market indicators and my saved folders of stocks organized by type. Also you should have asked before unilaterally shoving this change in my face. How do I change back to previous version? Where are the blues and greens. Put color back into graphs. Green was up and red down, but now it's only red. It sucks.

5 ★ Uodate 12/26/2023 - I really like this app. I use it often, sometimes throughout the day just to check out my portfolio. I also appreciate the news and the alerts! Had to uninstall this app a year or two ago because I was having problems with the password or some such thing. Anyway, I reinstalled it and seems to be working fine now. In general, I'm very happy with its functionality and use it almost everyday.

1 ★ 28-Nov-2023: Since the last update the app constantly crashes on my Pixel 7 with Android 14 with a purple Retry box. The addition of the portfolio chart is buggy. Better testing is needed before releasing updates. Previous review: Still not right after all these years. Index charts on the homepage are often lagging or don't display. In order to get current index or stock quotes I have to refresh at least twice. Not sure why developers can't get the app to display and update correctly.

5 ★ LOVE LOVE LOVE the new design but can you make it so its on all sections?? I would love my widgets to look like that, as well as the desktop - website. For those that complain, maybe have an option for old layout? but seriously, the new font and look is so so much better. I open it more frequently. The widgets on the other hand still look like old design so very inconsistent

3 ★ Good number of indicators like ichimoku (which is not on alot of competitor phone apps) and look is pleasing,but banners for the indicators run through the chart and/or the indicator runs through it's own banner. Should have this info in a setting, not displayed right on top of the chart, overlapping it. Not easy to resize as I want-hard to get it just right. Need more options to not show parts of indicators you don't want to clutter chart with and adjust settings like overbought/oversold

3 ★ I can't seem to find my stocks Or transferred them over, And when I try to clock out of other devices because of suspicious activity to get out of other devices. Except for the one I'm on the screen. Goes white after I do it. And nothing have to go Out of the app And then hit it again and it goes to the same spot before the screen turned White. Thanks

1 ★ Even a month ago, this would have been 4.5/5 stars. But now, the app is basically non-functional. Individual stock screens are blank. The correct prices, time of market (pre-, open, post) are usually not right, only some of the indexes load, and it doesn't look like I'm the only one with the problem. Fix yourselves, Yahoo.

1 ★ Things are NOT working well since the upgrade. I used to be able to type in any stock on the search, click on it, and get all the information on the stock. Now, that doesn't work anymore. I write the stock on search, it recognizes it, but when I click on it, the page is blank every time. What did you do? Very disappointing! This needs to be fixed or I will be using a different App.

5 ★ Great graphing UI and also Options data ! All this in a free app that doesn't require a lot of your personal info to sign up. I don't know of any other financial info app that provides as much functionality for this little friction. Also the web version has history on most tickets which is incredible if you want price and adjusted price history.

1 ★ I've an Android phone. Each time I go into my list of stocks, the app automatically scrolled down to the end of the list. Then paused for a period of time. Then it would scroll back to the top of the list. When I moved down the list myself, it would freeze up. Sometimes, it would unfreeze. At times, it would just lock itself up and then I would have to close down the app & start all over. I have tried restarting the app as well as uninstalling and re-installing the app. Nothing works. TERRIBLE!!
