FreeIP 23.1.1_230412 APK requires following permissions:

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows an application to write to external storage.

Required to be able to access the camera device.

Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.

Allows an application to modify global audio settings.

Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.

Allows an app to access precise location.

Allows access to the vibrator.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

Allows an application to record audio.

This constant was deprecated in API level 21. No longer enforced.

Allows applications to change Wi-Fi connectivity state.

Allows applications to change network connectivity state.

Allows an application to read from external storage.

Allows mounting and unmounting file systems for removable storage.

4 ★ The app is average in this P2P category. I used it with an EYECAM xvr. When I used special characters in XVR´s password, the app won´t connect. Use only letters and numbers. Question for the developers: I want to leave a phone with "preview" screen on all the time. But the app keeps asking to close video window from time to time. **** Update 03-november-2018: version 8.2.44.5 seemed to have been eliminated this timeout. Apparently, the timeout message comes up just once. **** Update 16-november-2018 The app closes randomly (sometimes after 2 hours, sometimes after 10+ hours). Upon reopening, there is a message "login timeout" (????). I have to login again in the app. Dev, please, get rid of these timeouts! What is it with them?

1 ★ Worked for a while. Could add my device etc. New phone, app updated. Wants a CAPTCHA with the login, but doesn't provide an image!? So that stops the setup dead. Logged in etc on the website, but won't replicate on the app. Constant timeout messages and the feedback section gives a server error so can't even report the problems. Awful app, worse support. Shocking

2 ★ Have to login every time, and even that way it says login timeout. It won't remember the cameras I have selected. Other than those, it seems to be fine. Edit: No improvement since my last review. Lowering the rating.

1 ★ Event messages doesn't work properly. App can't start sometimes. Please make a new update.

1 ★ Can't login after update. Correct S/N, username and password used. Comes back as "Device account or password error". This is the second time it's happened after an update. I can login with windows IE with the same info, so I don't know what is going on.

1 ★ Bought the backstreet surveillance system specifically for the app to see real time on a smart device. The app worked for 3 months then they updated it and will not find my cameras. Do not get Backstreet Surveillance System! Horrible customer service and now app doesn't work!

2 ★ I have been using this app for a while now but since. I'd November I have not been able to playback my dvr so I have no idea what goes on around my properties unless I am looking at it live..this is a huge inconvenience at this point I wish I could try a diferent app there have not not even an update on this one since last year....

2 ★ Playback function is awful. The bar disapeers, skips around, goes blank, and stops working to the point you have to restart the app. Recording video in playback is 4 to 8 minutes off from what you are attempting to save.

1 ★ Terrible apps, waste my time. Doesn't work at all. Keep asking password and device account number, after you enter it says operation succeed and nothing happened. Then start asking again and again, I tired.

2 ★ The app needs a lot of improvement in terms of interface, login , device adding and playback. Very much outdated as compared to many other related apps. I have not seen any update recently.

2 ★ This app was working great until last update. It used to say preview now it says real time and nothing works! just loads and loads and dose not bring up a picture! Going to find another app!

1 ★ I can't login since the last update! it's impossible to use the app. i will update the review once this is solved, but this can't happen in an app as important as this one

2 ★ Latest update now works (Oct 19) properly for the first time. Gave it 2 stars because it will undoubtedly change at the next update. If it doesn't, and it still works, i'll give it 4 stars. If it doesn't work, it'll be 1 star.

5 ★ The new update has made the app much easier to use. It's now quite simple to acurately and easily scroll through recordings, and the little UI improvements are nice.

3 ★ I've used this app for the past year and it worked fine until now. I can't view playback anymore as when I try to look at a specific camera at a specific time, the time slider won't zoom in and breaks to where I can't move it anymore.
