Description
The Shire Cares Patient Assistance & Support Program provides prescription medicine assistance for people who have trouble affording the Shire medicines their doctor has prescribed.
Using this App, patients and doctors can
- Learn about the Shire Cares program
- Understand the Shire Cares application process
- Download and forward the Shire Cares application form
- Track the status of applications
- Track doctor appointments as well as new and refill prescription requirements on their mobile device's calendar
- Contact a Shire Cares Counselor

App permissions
Shire Cares Mobile Application 1.7 APK requires following permissions:

Allows access to the list of accounts in the Accounts Service.
Allows an application to write the user's calendar data.
Allows an application to read the user's calendar data.
Allows applications to read the sync stats.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
Allows an application to initiate a phone call without going through the Dialer user interface for the user to confirm the call.
Allows an application to write to external storage.
Allows an application to read from external storage.

2 ★ They need to fix the app so that you can check on more than one case, I have to uninstall and reinstall the app to check on my other case.
5 ★ I wanted to see how many times I had used my card (and how much longer til it expires). All this app required was my first and last name and I had that info. Great job Shire!
5 ★ This app allowed me to find out the status my application within 3 minutes of installing it, just two days after having submitted the application!
2 ★ My tracker constantly says application incomplete and patient info missing. I have called Shire and they have assured me that my application is complete. It also doesn't sync correctly with my phone calender (it shows all of my appointments a day early!) I think this app is a wonderful idea and would be a great app if the info was correct!
