Download the latest Adelaide metro - whereDaBus application, version 6.0.3, compatible with Windows 10/11 (using emulators such as Bluestacks), Android devices. This free Maps & Navigation app is developed by Wizard Sleeve Studios and is easy to download and install.
Previous versions, including 6.0.3, 5.1.13, 5.1.7, are also available. If you need help or have any problems, please let us know.
Description
** Important, please read this first **
When you first load this app there will be no arrivals displayed.
This is because whereDaBus does not know what stop you are interested in looking at.
Click the magnifying glass in the top right corner of the screen to search for stops near you or use the text box to search all stops in the Adelaide metro area.
If you use the map it will only show stops within a 500m area by default. This is increased in the app settings by swiping out from the left hand side of the screen.

This is NOT a trip planner app
Don't get stuck with out of date timetables, or last minute changes to routes, this data is always live and always up to date.
Accurate information even during during events like the Fringe and Womadelaide, roadworks or other traffic restrictions.
Now with Google maps integration for locating nearby stops and showing location of buses.
Never carry another timetable again.
This will ONLY work for Adelaide Metro buses, trains and trams.
It provides real-time information - live!
WhereDaBus is designed by someone who uses Adelaide metro public transport every day.
The idea behind whereDaBus is to only show the buses, train and trams YOU need when YOU need them.
You can set 2 default stops, AM and PM.
When you start whereDaBus it will automatically go to your default - before midday the AM default and after midday the PM default.
No clicking through options, just YOUR timetable YOUR way.
A clean and simple interface. Just hit search icon and start typing to find stops or tap the map icon and select off a map.
Any stops are saved automatically for quick access anytime.
A tap on the arrivals allows filtering route numbers - you can even set an alarm to alert you when your bus is near your stop!

4 ★ Pretty reliable app. It would be great to have a feature that allow showing future bus route and stops when click 'show on map'. That would help with passengers A LOT.
4 ★ Generally useful app and provides accurate data, however lost a star because it doesn't load information while using WiFi, must switch to mobile data only to see bus times. Have tried reinstalling app and used many different WiFi connections in various places. Partner experiences the same issue on a brand new phone as well
3 ★ I love this app and have been using it for quite a few years, but a recent update has removed the swipe down to refresh feature when looking at stops. Could you please add this feature back? It makes it a lot easier to quickly update how far the bus is. Thanks!
5 ★ I am wondering if you can include fleet number of buses due(in next 30 minutes),as this info is available on GTFS. I know it is available from Adelaide Metro,as other apps have had this information. Thank you. Great news wheresDabus has just had an update that now includes Bus Fleet Numbers(just click on each arrival and you will see at the bottom it says Vehicle details-by clicking on this it brings up Fleet number.). A great addition-many thanks to Greg for including this in this great app.
4 ★ Great app One issue though, it reset my saved stops and wiped them all. I've had this app for a long time and this is the first time I've had an issue, so it's still really great, I just have to re-save ALL of my saved stops.
5 ★ Been using this for a couple of years. It's so fast, easy and reliable! Thanks to Adelaide Metro for providing the data, and for the developer for presenting it clearly in a great free app.
2 ★ Went late to work a couple of times cause I depended on the info given here. The previous version was spot on. The recent update stuffed up the timings. I'm happy to give a higher rating once this is gets better.
4 ★ I do like it. Its fairly easy to use and accurate. But it wont let me put my priority stops in order. Everytime I do they change back next time I look them up.
4 ★ Fairly reliable and simpler and quicker than Metromate. Regular commuters know where you are going, so this app just quickly tells you when busses are due at your stop.
4 ★ I purchased the ad free upgrade but the ads still show up at the bottom and even after editing the stops, when I turn the app on later, the editing is gone.
1 ★ it asks for stop number....who in thier wild dream would remember stop numbers. give a location and it goes blank...the ads keep running at the bottom.uninstalled immediately as it is a useless app and saved myself from misery.
5 ★ Great app, so much better than the stupid metro Adelaide app. Real time data and simple graphics make it easy to see if a bus is worth running for or not.
1 ★ Upgraded itself without my permission and deleted my saved stops. Unable to add them back by locating on a map. Must use the 5 digit stop code. Upgrades shouldn't be a retrograde step.
3 ★ Have purchased, but the ads have returned. Would be great if you could toggle the "due in" for the time of dep, and provide a list of the stops on the route with the arrival times.
2 ★ app hasn't been showing anything for a while and only displays a blue and white screen. This inconvenience has made transportation a fair bit harder.
