3 ★ The app doesn't align with the website, and as of 11/3/23, you can't use it in dark mode. We recognize the company has bigger concerns than the Android app functionality, and because the platform is the company's preferred mode for users/members to do everything, this change in function is thoughtless and foolish. Sorry. Not to kick you when you're down, WeWork.
1 ★ Won't work without permanent access to precise location. Totally unnecessary privacy intrusion.
3 ★ WeWork is lovely, this app is meh. Booking rooms and desks is tedious. When I try to filter for desks to book tomorrow, it shows all the unavailable locations first. There is also no text search for locations, you just have to scroll until you find what you want and the ordering is always changing. Finally there's no way to book a set of desks for a team, seems like a common enough use case.
3 ★ Waaay more expensive than local competitors. Almost 2x. It's office space, not a hotel room. Just Google for alternatives.
1 ★ Amazingly, this new app is even worse than the old app. It currently is broken on sign-in for me, but even when I could get into it it's user interface was awful - lots of fiddly controls that were easy to get wrong on the first attempt. Ridiculous to make me go through the procedure of installing a completely fresh app for this. The poor quality of this app makes me less likely to go into the office on some days.
1 ★ The new app version is much harder to use that the previous. Particularly booking desks for particular dates used to be simple and now is a tedious process, especially if booking multiple dates. The date picker using a scrolling UI picker is terrible and the insane amount of navigation/confirmation (6 actions to book a desk). And then being taken back to the main screen (re-select desk instead of room) and go through 6 steps again. Also no indication of whether I already booked a desk that day.
1 ★ Had to sign up to see prices. Signed up logged on took me to New York even though the app asked me where I was. I went to London looked for meeting room in London. App shows by the building so you have to look building by building. Cheapest room is way more expensive than other on demand options. Logged off and uninstalled app. Now I'll get nonsense emails from an app because they wouldn't let me see how expensive they were before I signed up. All in all not a good experience. We don't work.
2 ★ Terrible design and experience. Who books a we work location for the same day at 7pm? What a terrible default. Nevermind that the app scheduling shows 'today' and 'tomorrow' instead of just showing dates, and that to upgrade your account you have to call them and can't do it in the app. It's an app with terrible UI from a company who doesn't seem to want your money, terribly innovative.
2 ★ The date defaults to the current day. If you forget to change it there is no way to fix it! The App says reservations can be canceled but it's only for desk bookings, so if you book something else there is nothing. I contacted customer support and 3 days later received a message telling me to use the App! Clearly WeWork has a disconnect in their communications!
1 ★ The app never allowed me to sign in after signing up. I uninstalled it and réinstaller it afterwards but the problem persisted. I created a new account using my corporate email but that didn't solve the log in either. Wework lost me in this process as I was finally able to book via a competitor
2 ★ It is easy to use app, only if it works! First of all it qomost always starts from a different location on the map (location services don't sync). Then it crashes or indicates the internet connection is lost! Good idea, poorly implemented
1 ★ Desk booking section says "Something went wrong, please try again." Clicking "Try again" – the same. Selecting different location / date, restarting app, etc also doesn't work. In general, the app looks quite cool but I find quite unintuitive compared to the old app.
1 ★ Issue: Everytime I book meeting room successfully, app redirects me to desk booking screen with some location in Europe as default making it difficult to book room for next meeting. I ensured GPS is on while booking. Also, no option of edit or delete bookings. Very annoying app. Horrible experience of room booking.
2 ★ Lacks basic features for room booking. There is no filter by floor when trying to find a room. There is no way to cancel. There is no list of the rooms you have booked. There is no way to see what rooms other people in your business have booked. The list goes on.
1 ★ Terrible. Like with other people here, I cannot even fully sign up. Just keeps looking an error. Tired uninstalling, rebooting, making different accounts, and nothing worked. No way to book a space any other way besides the app that doesn't work.... Will be going with competition
