Description
Personalized Speed Dial
Browse faster by adding your favorite bookmarks as Speed Dials on the new tab page, to keep them one tap away. Sort them into folders, pick from a bunch of layout options, and make it your own. You can also switch Search Engines on the fly using Search Engine Nicknames while typing in Vivaldi’s Address Field (like ""d"" for DuckDuckGo or ""w"" for Wikipedia).
Tab Bar with Two-Level Tab Stacks
Vivaldi is the world’s first browser on Android to introduce two rows of mobile browser tabs. Long-press the New Tab button & select “New Tab Stack” to check it out! Choose between using a Tab Bar (which works great on larger screens and tablets) or a Tab Switcher to manage tabs. In the Tab Switcher you can quickly swipe to find open or private tabs and tabs you’ve recently closed in the browser or have opened on another device.

5 ★ Exceptional browser!! I love how I am able to save a bookmark on any of my computers and then be able to access them on any of my devices! That is such a huge convenience. I also have never experienced a crash, unlike Firefox, which crashed on me multiple times daily. There are many other features, so go check it out for yourself. You won't be disappointed.
5 ★ Hands down BEST BROWSER. My default! Extreme privacy + features. Gets even better on the desktop where you can tile as many tabs as you want on once screen and have them all showing at once which is usefull say with tradingview for a multiscreen experience with stock charts. Custom Add & Tracker Blocking filter lists. Password Manager. Homepage is the best I've seen with customizable bookmark shortcuts for easy access to your favorite websites nicely catorgized in folders. Much More must have!
5 ★ One of the best browsers for your cellphone. Very well designed user-interface. It pulls up websites without any hiccups (meaning video and audio files load as they should; whereas other browsers sometimes have problems playing video aor audio files.) I'm very satisfied to this as one of my online tools.
5 ★ As a browser, it's not much better than Chrome. It's not without flaws, and I wish the password manager worked bettet with it. However, paired with the desktop version, this browser excels. Bookmarks and search engines are kept in sync, and if you're switching between a laptop and phone, some features are helpful. I recommended trying it and seeing if the UI and workflow is for you.
5 ★ Love it. My favorite browser for desktop and mobile. Great customizations options. I like to configure things heavily and I don't get to do the same on other browsers without having to install extensions. One of the key things that I have been unable to even find good extensions for on other browsers are the web page navigation through mouse clicks. Problem with downloads, I'm unable to do more than one on a site without refreshing. Haven't been able to fix even when reported the issue.
5 ★ Excellent App. Sometimes will crash if you don't remember to close all apps but uthewise it's a solid app. Thank you. Updated: 11/2023. App has only gotten better. I like the update for the reading list but it's weird how it's implemented. I just have to remember how to use it when I need to do my offline reading list. On iOS it needs some time to catch up featurewise but I know it's coming. I like the bottoms url bar and am waiting until we have UI feature parity. I switched back to Firefox.
3 ★ This used to be my favorite browser, and while it still is on desktop, the recent glitches on mobile have me considering switching, at least temporarily. It opens new tabs in new windows at random that you have to close/reopen the app to get rid of, and when you click on the site link in the address bar, you can't copy or edit it because it shows up empty, making it much harder to share or change links. Hopefully these issues get fixed fast.
5 ★ My usual browser on both desktop and mobile. Has both tracker and ad blocking natively, as well as a bunch of features I find indispensable (tab stacking is my bff). If you want a Chromium browser without Google maybe looking over your shoulder, Vivaldi is the best. I also honestly prefer it to Firefox for the range of features on desktop in particular, and then I can easily sync stuff between desktop and mobile.
3 ★ As of Android update 6.4.3171.110, whenever the app is navigated away from- that is placed in background, in the task changer list, and then closed at any point. All tabs are LOST / CLOSED on reopening of the browser, however history and session data of those tabs are kept. The expected and normal behaviour is that all browsing sessions Data should be KEPT unless "Exit" from the main menu is selected, as this option has been toggle on in the settings. PLEASE fix, as this is very frustrating!
5 ★ The perfect browser doesnt exi.... oh yes yes. it does, Vivaldi is a chrome based BS free (customization first) privecy equipped wonder. i use it for my PDA. and this should easily be awarded the best browser of all time. catering to the developer. adv user. and new users. ultimate configurability chrome and firefox LACK. this puts every browser out there to shame.
5 ★ Vivaldi mobile is best browser for my needs, similar to combination of Chrome & Adblock browsers. Few ads of any kind, anywhere. Easy & intuitive to use. But SLOWer than Windows 98 on Aol dial up. Closing it & clearing cache doesn't really work. Just breathe & press "Wait" every time. Sending feedback is a waste of time & energy. Slow, slower, slowest. To see Comments, must often enable ads- & tracking! Motorola Power 2022, Android 12. Stepstone :-)
1 ★ What once was a good browser is now hardly usable. Tabs will randomly close, tab groups will move around so you can't find them, and now clicking on the address bar brings up a new blank search instead of allowing you to edit the URL. Also, how does any browser that wants to be taken seriously not have a working native reading mode? On the positive side, the android app crashes less frequently than the desktop app. I updated to the lastest version and it fixed none of the problems
4 ★ Works as advertised. I switched from Chrome to get rid of the ads. I tried Duck, but it set up some kind of firewall that blocked music streaming. I do use the Duck search engine on Vivaldi, since it gives you a choice. I installed Vivaldi on three devices, Android and Windows.
3 ★ I still use it, but it has some really obnoxious quirks. Bookmarks/speed dial get wiped out occasionally. Loading an open tab opens the page in "preview mode," just a totally broken version of the page until you refresh. Mountains of options but no way to disable that. Still, it's less bad than other browsers I've tried.
5 ★ Vivaldi is a nicely configurable browser with a speed dial that makes daily navigation simple and fast. It has some excellent security options and it syncs with the version that I run on my Linux machine. (which is one of the most extensive, capable browsers going.) It's constantly developed and upgrades regularly.
