4 ★ The only issue I've had with it so far is that the question mark is frequently registered as a 2 with a decimal point instead of an unknown number. If you could use several variables instead of only one that would be really useful too. If you could create them using circled letters (or something) so the app would register them as variables easier that would work great. Also, I was unable to tap the 'calculate' button with my stylus. Please look into these issues and I'll rate the app higher.
4 ★ I thought this. would be a gimmick but it turned out to be the most intuitive calculator I've ever used. Not perfect. As others have said there's no way to chain calculations so if you want to add a long list of numbers or do really complex calculations you better have a paper and pencil handy. (A scratch pad would be nice.) Otherwise, brilliant.
4 ★ A great app and it will recognise my scruffy handwriting. This is something novel and useful as well as being flexible. I have not given it 5 five stars yet because I agree with some of the other reviewer's comments. Developers please keep developing I really want to give you five stars. One problem, the app seems to take the comma as a decimal point so I cannot delineate thousands.
3 ★ It needs to give a little more time before converting from my input script and calculating. Could use standard crossout for a change of input. Slow it down a little. I know I can stop auto calc altogether but wish I didn't have to. Maybe add an option that increases time to calc from last input by 1/10th second until the user is comfortable. I feel like I'm racing the clock now.
5 ★ Hi have my middle school students download it to use it to check their homework, we don't give marks for homework so no use copying answers, however they will probably learn something if they copy too! I empower them and let them take responsibility for their learning too.
5 ★ I cannot ask for more from this app but if you decide to implement additional features, please consider a paid version with full screen mode and the ability to graph. Excellent work! p.s. try dividing by zero!
3 ★ Although it handles more complex 'simple' math, it seems to perform better on a 10 inch tablet, than an S6 size mobile. Still good though. Probably due to relatively small screen for a 'finger' written imput. It tends to miss-match input symbology on the small screen!
5 ★ In my Nvidia shield tablet there seem to be some sort of lag or bug with the input recognition. At the beginning I thought I was writing too fast but it happens when I do it slow too. Example if I try to write an equation a small part of a number could be missing and a big part of the division line too, it happens almost all the time. I have this app on my Note 4 and works perfectly so I don't know if its a Nvidia or app related issue ! OK so after a few days I tried it again and works fine ???
3 ★ Awesome app and recognizes handwriting really well. The only thing that stops me from giving a 5 star rating is that it doesn't recognize algebraic equations/notations and some other mathematical symbols. Add this and I'd definitely give 5/5. Edit: down graded my rating because it cannot recognize negative numbers.
4 ★ I like the app but I find myself constantly memorizing the last calculation so I can re-use it. An easy way to use the last result would be nice. I Keep running out of room on my phone screen. Also, needs pinch zoom feature to shrink/expand.
3 ★ Also, a tiny bit glitchy but still fun and useful. I'm guessing the reason why they don't have X and Y because X looks too much like multiply and lower case Y could glitch into a 9? Still a cool app
1 ★ When writing with hand on a paper, people always keep the paper slightly tilted. Since in this app I have to keep my strokes vertical, writing gets somewhat difficult. If I try tilted writing, it interprets my + as x, 7 as 1 and so on. So, please do something about the grid lines
5 ★ Not sure about the operator priority, but unary minus is always confusing. I could make it crash dividing large factorials eg 111!/110! - they've fixed that now! ... awesome :-) I like to use it to get people comfortable with numbers.
3 ★ The app as as whole, brilliant! However don't expect to be able to do high level maths on there as it sometimes gets confused. Couldn't seem to carry the square root over all the numbers i wanted it to, instead it seemed to create a divide line over an already completed equation. Then it just gets confused thinking that i must have wanted it to be there as when i undo it, it seems to go through other places i may have wanted the / the thing is, i didn't want it there in the first place!
5 ★ Absolute pleasure using this, far better than using standard calculators. Able to perform most calculations with ease in a blip, and where normal calculators fail to help viz. cube root of expression. Provision of selection of thickness of drawing would be highly appreciated as for smaller screens it little difficult to use without stylus. 👍👍
