U-Haul 3.4.6 APK requires following permissions:

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.

Allows an app to access precise location.

Required to be able to access the camera device.

Allows an app to access approximate location.

Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.

Allows an application to read the user's contacts data.

Allows an application to initiate a phone call without going through the Dialer user interface for the user to confirm the call.

Allows applications to connect to paired bluetooth devices.

Allows applications to discover and pair bluetooth devices.

Allows access to the vibrator.

Allows an app to use fingerprint hardware.

Allows an application to change the Z-order of tasks.

1 ★ Loading.. ? There is no possible way anybody tested this app before publishing it. Blank screens around every corner. No option to go back to the previous page. Just have to close the app and hope you get somewhere the next time. The bottom tab to go home dissappears. Picking up and dropping off a vehicle is a lengthy process of dealing with technical issues with this app. No information about my truck return would show up, so cant verify gas. They end up telling me just leave it. Atrocious. 0

1 ★ This basically didn't work, in all kinds of different ways from not loading to restarting the pickup process, losing progress, not "scanning" my license, having a seemingly fake agent chat feature that disappears unexpectedly. I had to call customer service and they managed to do something that broke it in a different way (forcing me to go to a location that didn't have my vehicle). I ended up having to cancel my reservation and book through an office. At return it just didn't even load. Bad.

1 ★ This APP is horrible. Or it is dispatch. Changing location for rental pickups constantly. Without consulting the customers, whom scheduled for your services and products. Uhaul, I had been your customer for over decades. What Happen?! This year within 70 days. Your services messed with my scheduling. Not once but twice. You lost a long time customer. Never again.

3 ★ Too many quirks when reserving equipment again; the correct duration is not reflected. Cannot change duration in app. Cannot complete pick-up via app for trailer. Consider app pick-up w/staff visual inspection? App pages slow to load. Too many repeat inquiries regarding add-ons etc. App user experience so close to being a pleasure, but frequent blank pages/pages not loading and quirks make it less than optimal. Notation: Staff of Corona 6th street location are courteous and professional.

1 ★ The app wanted my location before it would let me proceed. I am visiting family in Washington state. I needed to make a reservation for wisconsin. It would only give me info for Washington. When I removed location permissions it would not let me proceed. I had to use browser to place a reservation. Also, I was not able to choose return day/time. I would like to return the truck on Monday morning. Not a very good online experience either way (app or browser).

2 ★ This app works great for reserving uhaul's, I've used it several times to do just that. However, the mobile check-in has been essentially unusable each time I've tried it. The problem seems to come mostly when trying to upload photos (verifying your identity by uploading a picture of your driver's license), and then verifying the license. Each time I've been met with infinite loading screens when trying to upload, or it has failed to verify my valid ID.

1 ★ Tried to use the app to return the truck I rented, and while I was standing outside the store, the app couldn't locate me. After 3 different tries and 7 minutes, I tried to chat with someone. They finally told me to make sure to keep my pictures, and they would message the store and put the keys in the drop box. This app TOTALLY SUCKS, won't use it again, as well as uhaul. Only wish I could give it less than 1 star.

1 ★ The app is absolutely horrible. Literally could not add the photos they wanted because it wouldn't save them. They need a ton of info and want to call two proofs of people you know, work for, or a passport or a lease agreement. Was not told this ahead of time so that was difficult using the app. Would not accept alternate driver with a clean driving record despite giving the option to have one. I had to take my own proof photos in case they try to say something because it wouldn't take photos.

2 ★ When it was working it was good. I had bought two sets of the QR code stickers to label my moving boxes. They worked great and loaded perfectly into my moving list on the app. Then I don't know if the whole system went down or just my app but I couldn't log in for a day or two and when I finally was able to get back into my account, all my boxes were gone from my list. I couldn't rescan because most of my boxes were loaded up so basically the stickers and app were a waste of time and money.

1 ★ App doesn't work at all. Total waste of time. Could not pick up truck with app. Took over an hour because of glitches. Then when I returned truck, app kept going blank. When I finally supposedly got return confirmation, the next day it showed online that the truck had not been returned. So then I have to spend over an hour on phone with 4 different Uhaul reps, none of which could help get this mess resolved. Totally fiasco. What a joke of an app.

1 ★ Don't do it! Don't do mobile pickup! Save yourself the hassle and have a rep help you. This app kept crashing, making me retake images, not recognizing location or internet. I had to take my DL pic twice?! Had to wait for chat rep. The order disappeared after drop off, I didn't even finish because it buffered and then just blank!! I had to manually go in find the order for p/u d/o. Too much work for nothing! I wasted more time doing pick up and drop off than using the actual truck.

1 ★ U-Haul will charge you $20 if don't checkout using the app when you're dropping off after hours. The app wouldn't recognize my location and I had no option to checkout otherwise. 20 mins later, after I'd dropped the keys off in the dropbox, the app worked while I was eating lunch 5 miles away. I'd taken a picture of the odometer before dropping the vehicle off but it wouldn't let me upload it. It wouldn't let me complete the dropoff without the picture. Totally useless and a ripoff

1 ★ Horrible experience with mobile pickup. App location tracking failed over and over (required to confirm picking up at right location), messages asking for help were ignored and when it finally did work never got past trying to take pictures of my license so didn't end up with rental after all. Never do it again. Be warned!

1 ★ The app rates that were advertised are not true, the stores do whatever they want regardless of what uhaul customer service and even management says. Be aware of accidently being forced without being told that if/when you extend your rental, it creates multiple contracts and you get charged left and right in very wrong ways. Mentioning the multiple contracts, worth mentioning also that even if you specify charging a different card, they will certainly charge only the first card put on file. Even

1 ★ While standing in the parking lot of the UHaul, the check in portion of the app could not find my location, though the screen that finds the closest UHaul had my location; this was with full location services being on. I was unable to take a picture of the barcode within the app, instead clicking on the camera directed me to pick a previoisly-taken photo, but then would not recognize the bar code for the building. I would be embarrassed if this were my company's app.
