1 ★ App worked when I first installed it to book for a business trip, went to go back and review my trip details and the app freezes on the load screen. Clearing app data and reinstalling doesn't fix it. Website works on my laptop. Booking flights on the app was a pain, I started selecting flights, got called away for a couple minutes and came back to find I was logged out. Logged back in, and had to hunt through the search results to find what had been the top recommended flight.
1 ★ Use to be okay when it was TripActions, but noe that it is Navan(whatever that name means), the app is terrible and always crashing with random errors telling me to try again later. Last time I checked prices, they were more expensive than booking directly for the flights/hotels/car rentals. Haven't tried their customer service since the name change so can't speak to that. It was fairly simple when it was TripActions...now not so much-to be fair I guess, hard to tell when the app doesn't work!
1 ★ I cannot say enough bad things about Trip actions/Navan, it is the worst service I've ever used. The flights are ALWAYS more expensive by $100+, hotels are ALWAYS more expensive by $30+. Booking directly with the carriers is ALAWAYS a better option. I'll be glad when my company wakes up. I travel multiple times a month and this has already cost them several thousand dollars on me alone and it's only February. TERRIBLE AND A SCAM!!!
1 ★ I hate this app, and market place. Of 6 trips over 5 months, I have been stranded twice at airports. Searching for anything on the app is impossible, filtering works when it wants too. The trip actions portal doesn't notify you if a flight is canceled, the airlines get their 888-number and not yours, so there's no way to get notified. No quick way to talk to an agent, you have to go through "Cati", agents promise to call with updates and don't. I would rather drive 900 mi than trust 'em
2 ★ Pricing high, cancellation policy worse than direct booking. Airfare marked up, calling often very time consuming and ineffective. Biggest issue: The app itself has the least amount of actual travel features out of any I've ever used, impossible to change things (hotel dates, flights, car dates, locations), have to cancel and rebook! Major issue for frequent travelers Hotel and rental car loyalty not associated with eligible companies/properties. Rates on desktop and mobile app do not match.
1 ★ This app sucks. It's buggy. Booking things is inconvenient. Trying to chat with support, needs tech support. It reconnects and theatres fail to go through, or blank out, and require rewriting. Then there's the screw up of getting invited to trips by a company which booking through the app charges you instead of the main account which invited you. Terrible experience, would about using this at all cost.
3 ★ It's really great if it's just you or one traveler. But this is the most aggravating app for a company with several people traveling not to mention trying to gauge upper diem that they have no idea our company pays in certain cities I just hate it And I hate being forced to use it. Your money trickles in instead of one lump sum there's a lot of time spent trying to maneuver through it and it is very time-consuming and expensive. Skip it.
3 ★ Why did you change some good old functions?? The usability is far worse than it used to be! I cannot swipe between pictures of hotels, once I select a hotel from the map, I need to use select button again to see the hotel features. The filter system in flight search cannot find a flight sometimes without resetting the filters...
1 ★ Searched well for Airlines, car rentals and hotels. But lots of glitches. When you scheduled I flight it doesn't automatically use the arrival airport as the car rental location. I you are responding to a company travel invite it does a poor job of keeping that information on the screen. The chat help is randomly useless.
1 ★ The travel booking side is alright, but oh goodness my company is now forcing me to use the expense portion of Navan. In short it feels underbaked, much longer to upload and fill out expenses than Expensify, and things are not organized by trip in the expense section. So you just have a lost of all expenses in day order making it very hard to audit based on your visit. Edit - keeps getting worse. It's now not combining expenses into one single deposit on my account and disconnecting from my acc
1 ★ sluggish and buggy, it never worked the first time, I always had to enter my expenses at least twice and double checked things everytime, it has been like that for years after many app updates, they seem not to know that an app should be at least reliable enough before anything else
1 ★ PLEASE READ BEFORE USING NAVAN! I had the unfortunate experience of using this service for my small business. It is geared towards the US market as opposed to the UK. Pros: None Cons: 1. Buggy Mobile app and you have to use Web service. 2. You can not update or change train tickets on web portal or app. 3. You do not receive preferential rates on hotel bookings. Please use booking or Expedia 4. You do not receive VAT receipts ! So you lose 10-20% on what you can claim. Verdict: Avoid!
1 ★ Frustrating. I'm trying to sign in and when I click continue, it redirects me to download the app, the same app I already have. Why? It's not letting me sign in and access my account.
1 ★ Can't put my phone number in. Its a uk number and when I add the number it rejects it soo I tried 44, +44, 0044, 440, +440 and different combinations and it still says the number is wrong.
5 ★ It was very easy to use and VERY helpful to have. Never had any issues or glitches with it.
