In its seventh edition, the National Meeting of Information and Communication Technology in Construction or TIC2015 already established as a renowned forum for presentation of papers, lectures and discussions on information and communication technologies applied to the construction sector. Common central theme entitled "Buildings, Infrastructure and City: the BIMao CIM" the event aimed to promote the construction of an overview of the amplification of the concept of modeling of Information Construction (Building Information Modeling - BIM) in order to address a related scale urban development with the idea of ​​the City Information Modeling - CIM, and contribute to improving the quality and performance of buildings and dascidades.

    Held in Recife - PE with organization of the Federal University of Pernambuco - UFPE and the Tecnologiade Information and Communication Working Group - GT.TIC (BIM) of ANTAC, the TIC2015 promoted academic discussions of excellence and enabled an important exchange between universities and the market, bringing together researchers, students, design professionals and construction, system developers, public officials and politicians. In this edition of the event, from shipment of 110 abstracts were received 95 submissions of full papers. After a process of double-blind evaluation involving 41 referees, seventy articles were accepted for presentation and publication. This significant number of selected articles shows that more and more information and communication technologies have been applied not only to buildings and infrastructure, but also to the management of urban spaces and development of new areas projects in cities.

    Among the seven distribution themes articles and presentations, there is modeling or BIM process that has received wide attention in the construction market developments and academia and has increasingly spread. Furthermore, CIM can be understood as the expansion of BIM for a related scale urban development and apply to neighborhoods and cities and an integrated digital modeled.

    Coordination of the Scientific Committee and the TIC2015 Organization thank the authors who submitted their work to the evaluators who lent their time and expertise to review the submitted papers and the various supporters of the event. The success of TIC2015 is the result of hard work and intense collaboration and dedication of a great network of relationships, and the tone of information and communication technologies!
