App permissions
ThinkingPhones 3.2.1 APK requires following permissions:
Allows access to the list of accounts in the Accounts Service.
Allows an application to see the number being dialed during an outgoing call with the option to redirect the call to a different number or abort the call altogether.
Allows an application to initiate a phone call without going through the Dialer user interface for the user to confirm the call.
Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.
Allows an application to read the low-level system log files.
Allows an application to read the user's call log.
Allows an application to write (but not read] the user's call log data.
Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.
Allows applications to access information about networks.
Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.
Allows applications to connect to paired bluetooth devices.
Allows an application to record audio.
Allows an application to modify global audio settings.

2 ★ Several problems. Great concept poor execution

1 ★ I spent hours trying to troubleshoot why my car Bluetooth speaker kept shutting off and going to the phone speaker in the middle of a call. I eventually discover that just having the app installed, even if it's not in use, causes the problem. Uninstalled the app and problem went away.
1 ★ Call quality poor on anything other than high speed wifi. Cannot exit app, have to kill the process manually. Also issue on Xperia Z2 whereby while app is in background it causes most regular calls to be muted (calls made from phone not app). I had to delete app from phone to restore basic call function. Poor experience and recommending my work team to look for alternative solution as TPN support is awful at best too.
2 ★ Works ok as long as you don't mind holding the handset or working on speaker phone. You can't use a Bluetooth headset so this pretty much renders the app useless to me. Shame...
3 ★ would be nice if it auto rotated to use on a tablet. Also doesn't work on Lollipop 5.x
1 ★ Half the time it won't launch. I frequently have to reinstall it.
5 ★ I like being able to enable the app by simply selecting AVAILABLE. It's very intuitive and user friendly.

5 ★ Allows me to do business at will from any location. Terrific.
1 ★ Installed on a Verizon Droid Razr HD. Install went fine and was easy but when you try to launch app crashes immediately with no error message provided. Please fix asap.
1 ★ 2 months ago we downloaded this app on our work phones and had the same issue on a Droid RAZR MAXX and a Galaxy Note 3. Called TPN and they told us that there was a newer version coming out and there's some sort of "Beta" version out there to use. So far, they quoted us on 2 weeks and it's been over 2 months. FIX YOUR APPS.
