App permissions

theScore esports 2.8 APK requires following permissions:

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows an application to write to external storage.

Allows an app to access approximate location.

Allows access to the vibrator.

Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.

Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.

Allows an application to broadcast sticky intents.

Allows access to the list of accounts in the Accounts Service.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

Allows an application to read from external storage.

2 ★ Have already asked Devs to Include a way to remove advertisments but clearly they're not interested in money. I already stated months ago that I would be more than happy to pay for a 'premium' version to remove them. Still nothing. Will use another app that listens to feedback.

4 ★ The app is very usefull. Plenty of news and informations available. The interface is simple which make it very easy to navigate. One think that i dislike is the absence of separation between groups in the standings column. You guys just stack up all the teams even if they are in different groups. You did it in worlds, eu lcs, lpl and now iem katowice (I'm talking about league of legends). I reallly hope you fix that because it's really annoying. But rather than that i appreciate all the efforts you are putting in to create probably the best esports application available right now.

5 ★ Has notifications for games and tournaments, matchup statistics, live game tracking, links straight to the twitch app, and makes actual brackets for tournaments. The app is maintained well and they give stories on high profile tournaments. They have a no spoiler mode. Need I say more? Fully featured, well maintained, works great!

4 ★ I love everything about the app except for how you display the adds. I am fine with you just displaying the add at the bottom but the "install" that flicks on and off is really distracting and annoying while trying to read news for esports. Please consider making it a static Install text or at least slowing it down for the adds so it isn't so annoying while reading.

5 ★ One of the fastest developers I have ever encountered. The support answers in less then an hour and the bug is fixed within 2 hours (scores and news stuff) or just 2 days if there is something wrong with the app itself

5 ★ Good app, improving all the time. But this annoys me. When I go into lol game score. I go to game 1 for example. Then, by default you go to matchup section. Usually I go to stats. And when I go to game 2,it switches again to matchup tab which is a bit frustrating because I need again to go to stats... For every game played. To be short: when I tap on game to see details and then stats, make stats tab still active when I click to game 2, 3...

3 ★ This app is like the ESPN app of eSports. Though it only has coverage of the most commonly known games, some of which are overrated. Lacks many fighting games, the only one included being Street Fighter.

5 ★ GREAT APP. Except Iam Still waiting for the app to update to see Paladins ESports score. Since WESA teams have been launched into Paladins. I hope that you will allow Paladins to be in the ESports community Even though it is still in Open Beta.

4 ★ Love the app, and have watched it grow over the last couple years. One thing: can you please add an option to pay a buck or two to get rid of ads? Thanks!

4 ★ I love this app. Has links to the twitch channel the games on, scores, detailed info and so on. 1 complaint, over the last 2 weeks the updates on games have been slow or not at all. News hasn't updated in 6 days even though there are tons of qualifiers going on.

2 ★ Don't know about other stuff but it seems that it usually fails on delivering the results on dota 2 scene. Might be me but seeing no results for today on a day that had multiple competitive games is a bit of a bad thing. So news wise good stuff score wise terrible stuff

5 ★ This app just gets better and better. Thanks for listening to the users, devs! It's quick and easy to see upcoming tournaments, scores, and news. All I'd like is an option to remove ads.

4 ★ The app is great to track my teams. I wish that it would have YouTube options for LoL after the stream is no longer live and not just twitch (it has the YouTube stream while the game is live though).

4 ★ Grt app. What bothers me is that you cant see the group stage scores on the brackets tab on most of the events (like the dota kiev major rn) Work on it if you please. That would be amazing

4 ★ Love the app tells me what I need to know. The only issue I have are the notifications, they show too much info about the event rather then the match in the title so I can't see results unless I open the app.
