3 ★ App sorely needs a refresh. Controls have become clunky and there is no integration with smart devices. I'd love to keep using these cameras and the system, but it seems like it's been abandoned.
5 ★ Had it for a few years now, which they had a low monthly payment service where they can record and safe for at least a month, specially when you leave the house. Otherwise I am happy with my Smart Cam.
2 ★ Use to work great. Now it's an abandoned app. Planned obsolescence at it's finest. Bricked my camera will not trust Samsung for long term solutions to any household appliances again!
1 ★ I used the samsung camera and app for the nursery. Worked great for 3 years. Now I have the old camera and a new one which have become very expensive useless baby monitors. Do not detect motion or sound unless you are right in front of the cameras so I never get notifications like I used to. Microphone feature stopped working completely. Now the app says the cameras are not connected, using wifi or cellular data, even though the camera lights are green. Please fix the glitches with the app!!!
2 ★ smart cam worked out for a few months, then one day I could not get the camera to work. it will not sink with my phone app. I don't know why it stopped, but it did and it won't work again. otherwise when it did work it was very nice. the features were great. when I got it though, it didn't come complete with a memory card as supposed to, I bought several, and none of them work.
4 ★ Works great to watch our webcam. It seems most times I start it, there is an announcement from Samsung that is not relevant to me but that is a minor inconvenience. It works great.
4 ★ Pretty good app that's let's me spy on my dog! It's a little glitchy though, you have to log in every time you open the app, my phone saves my info but it still takes several seconds and it's annoying. I also wish the options were more clear, like recording settings and alert settings. Overall okay for a free security app, but then again the Samsung Camera was over $70. Could use some upgrading.
1 ★ I have never been able to get these cameras or the app to work consistently. I will reset everything. It will work for a couple hours and then I start all over over resetting cameras reloading app. It's a never ending disappointment I bought these cameras because we owned other Samsung equipment and never had a problem.
2 ★ Cannot authenticate to google OAuth used for google drive upload as Webview based OAuth is no longer supported by Google. Please update the App to use in-app browser based or the recommended methods by Google for OAuth to work.
1 ★ Purchased several years ago. It worked fine. All of a sudden, it stopped working. The green light is on and I have it on automatically sign on, but now it doesn't do that.
1 ★ Cameras keep disconnecting and I spend hours trying to reconnect them the service was great for years but now it's garbage and I can't afford another system please fix it
5 ★ This is a great reliable camera. I have 6 of them and they are all better than the one ring doorbell.
3 ★ My cameras work well. But, I lose the sound within a few seconds and then the screen says " you have lost wifi connection.." then the video go out. THe cable company say they are not the problem. It is in the app. Please fix this....
2 ★ Wish I could view more cameras simultaneously. Also need ability to acknowledge using cellular data charges. I don't like having to click it Everytime I want to view a camera on my phone.
3 ★ For a couple of years, everything worked as it should. So, I bought more cameras. Now, zooming crashes some of the cameras, but not all. Also, one camera is fine live mode, and it captures events as it should, but I can no longer view the events. I get a message after a long wait: "Failed to play due to concurrent access or unstable network. Check the network status of the camera and the terminal" OK
