Talk Home: Int'l Calling App 5.3.8 APK requires following permissions:

Allows applications to disable the keyguard if it is not secure.

Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows an application to read the user's contacts data.

Allows an application to initiate a phone call without going through the Dialer user interface for the user to confirm the call.

Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.

Allows an application to broadcast sticky intents.

Allows an application to modify global audio settings.

Allows applications to read the sync settings.

Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.

Allows an application to record audio.

Allows access to the vibrator.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

Allows an application to write the user's contacts data.

Allows applications to write the sync settings.

Allows an application to use SIP service.

Allows access to the list of accounts in the Accounts Service.

Allows a calling application which manages it own calls through the self-managed ConnectionService APIs.

Allows applications to connect to paired bluetooth devices.

Allows an application to read from external storage.

1 ★ One of the worst calling app I've ever experienced. Can't access when you really need to call your family in an emergency and very poor quality

1 ★ Rubbish connection. Had to call multiple times and waste minutes to get a proper connection. My orginal number doesn't show when calling abroad as advertised here. Wasted money on this one

1 ★ Not connecting the call for first time for last few times. Used to be a good app.app is getting even worse now, multiple attempts to restart the app to make a call, There is also no connectivity with bluetooth headphones, so if you need to make a call , you have to hold the phone to ear. Very disappointing. Upgrades does not mean new interface and fancy buttons, it should also include app and functions stability.

2 ★ Have been ok but for the past few days i just cant connect and its annoying,cant speak to my family now cz the connection is just terrible

5 ★ No complaints. Works very well most of the time, depending on my signal.

1 ★ The app works. But be careful, if you buy call bundle and you make calls with it, it doesn't tell you the call minutes left in your bundle. You would still have the original bundle untouched and before you realise, they would take all the bundles and the credit balance left in your account. Very tricky. Almost a scam. Very bad experience.

4 ★ App interface is not good and I can't talk when using Bluetooth headset. Overall experience is okay.

1 ★ please forget about this app Because they only take your money I did the top up of 10 pounds ended up saying hello hello hello hello because my mother couldn't hear me. the line kept cutting out continuously. it seems strange and the last three minutes I talked before I ran out of money. So in the end it means that I paid 10 Pound for 3 minutes please learn from my mistakes don't download it, Thanks

5 ★ I have been using Talk Home over 2 years now. And I have been having hitch free service for a long time. I honestly recommend Talk Home as a good Company to deal with.

4 ★ Function of the app is quite good easy to top up,It really helps etc. The only issues i expierience at times is the quality of the calls being very poor.It could be from poor connection at the receiver end ..still we expect to get good value for money service so it would be great if you can work on that .....apart from this I am happy with Talk home ,I have been using it for quite long now ,All the best

1 ★ Very bad. I have not been able to make calls for days now. I recharged £15 and am still been told I don not have airtime that I should do a top up. Have sent emails no response. Once am able to make use of this credit, I will uninstall the app and will not recommend it to anyone. This is a very horrible experience so far. And it si so frustrating.

1 ★ Please don't use this app. It is glitchy as hell. I accidentally loaded 3 lots of £5 because the app told me each load had failed - lo and behold, there was £15 worth of credit. Excellent. I tried to use the credit to make calls, but every single time the line dropped. I think overall I tried about 50 times. Emailed to ask for a refund, was told "to continue trying the app". Once more asked for a refund (!) and they've stopped responding. July Update: still refusing to give refund.

1 ★ Why is this talk home app sooooo bad? For the past one year now this app is getting bad every day, it should be improving in technology and connecting, but is not, is getting very bad day by day. For example, I have not been able to make a call for the past 4days, when I place my call the app will decline and end the call immediately. I thought it was my phone I restart my phone just in case, still the same issue I unstall the app and install back still the same issue. Very disappointing app❌
