Description
The app provides:
* Gentamicin calculators (Greater Glasgow and Hartford) and Vancomycin calculator
* Primary Care Guidance on Antimicrobial prescribing, from Public Health England. A content management tool enables Boards to customise this guidance to local needs if required.
* A decision aid for antimicrobial prescribing for urinary tract infections
* An audit tool to support Boards in gathering and submitting HEAT targets,
A content authoring tool to enable Boards to make their hospital guidance on antimicrobial prescribing available through the app.
This app is built on the Quris platform.
App permissions
Antimicrobial Companion 3.0.9 APK requires following permissions:
Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.
Allows applications to change network connectivity state.
Allows applications to change Wi-Fi connectivity state.
This constant was deprecated in API level 9. This functionality will be removed in the future; please do not use. Allow an application to make its activities persistent.
Allows an application to read from external storage.
Allows an application to write to external storage.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
Allows applications to access information about networks.
This constant was deprecated in API level 16. The API that used this permission has been removed.
Marker permission for applications that wish to access notification policy.
Allows access to the vibrator.

3 ★ I had this app on my previous phone (Samsung galaxy s5) and it worked fine. I have a new phone (Samsung galaxy A5) and now it doesn't work. When I open the app it has the loading symbol going continuously. Any ideas how I can resolve this?
2 ★ App is very buggy. Very slow to open, sometimes doesn't at all. Doesn't ever close, you have to close via app manager. Galaxy s5
1 ★ Can't open the app on my new Samsung S8, which I bought specifically to accommodate the increasing number of medical apps!
3 ★ Needs a lot more information, still waiting for any info from my local area (NHS Fife). It does have national data which you can switch to instead which gives it some function meantime.
