Description
The main factor for success in learning a foreign language is the rapid replenishment of vocabulary through repetition of words. For this purpose, people often use notepads, which may not always be convenient.
The new app "My Dictionary: Polyglot" combines several functions and advantages:

This app allows you to expand your vocabulary fast enough. Its main advantage is the availability of 8 different training methods for learning. The 90 different dictionaries include the most popular languages worldwide, such as English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Chinese, and Portuguese. As a result, it is possible to learn one language sequentially or simultaneously learn multiple languages.
The app provides a unique opportunity to learn multiple words per day, which is the fastest way to learn a language, as vocabulary is the foundation of quick language learning. The more new words you learn, the better you will understand your interlocutor, and the easier it will be to communicate with them. Of course, grammar is also necessary, but we recommend learning it after learning vocabulary, at least the basic words. Otherwise, learning a foreign language will be much harder, longer, and more tedious.
This app will be especially useful for those who read foreign literature, visit foreign forums and websites. When encountering an unknown word in the text, the user can simply add it to their dictionary, see the translation, and then learn it with the help of the training module. Without a dictionary, people usually forget a new word soon, and seeing it again, they have to look for it once more.
During the app's development, the complexity of "manual" translation search and the psychological aspects of learning words, including the lack of free time, were taken into account. Therefore, when encountering an unknown word in the text, the user can simply go to the app, enter the new word in the dictionary, and see the translation. If necessary, they can add it to the list of studied words. The program shows the level of mastery of each word as a percentage, so when a word is learned, the user can tick "Studied" for that word, and it will cease to appear in the training. Learned words do not appear in the training list, but remain in the dictionary, allowing for quick reference when needed. Thus, the application "My Dictionary: Polyglot" is an invaluable aid for learning a foreign language. Anyone can verify this for themselves and learn any foreign language quickly enough.

4 ★ I find that the app sync only from the cloud to the phone. Very often we don't have electricity for hours, when I use the app then, I lose my work later on because I cannot choose to sync from my phone TO the cloud, but only FROM the cloud to phone.
5 ★ The biggest problem for me now is that sometimes app DOESN'T COMMIT ALL THE CHANGES to database before backup, so some changes (learned/added words or tags) aren't included in backup file at all. Please fix it..... This trifle sometimes is really annoying. But by the rest it's a great app with the most needed functionality included in one place. So, thank you a lot! And yes, I've learned more than 8800 words with it :)
3 ★ This App is exactly what I was looking for since a long time. It's almost perfect app. If you were looking for an ideal app to keep your Vocab with all illustrating tools, so don't hesitate to download it. Please keep it up and congrats on developing this new app. there's a problem with the voice package on Android Pie!!!! I've tried on my both phones and voice is not working despite changing the default settings of sound. please fix this issue 😔 ASAP.
5 ★ Ok I like your app very much, very handy, comfortable, and deserves 5 stars. but, I would recommend an important strategic improvement for your application. And this is a request. Please add a provision to go directly towards the word that is shown in the notification, rather than dictionary , it is inconvenient to search. Your app periodically notifying words is one of your best positives. Also allow the notification show the meaning of the translation completely. I hope you will do the best.
5 ★ Very functional and powerful application to learn new words. Ad banners are present in free version, but do not pop-up too often or annoy. Nice statistics feature to keep yourself involved. Really flexible mechanics to focus on what you really want to learn and in the way you are comfortable to do: main and additional translations, multiple study and training modes. One thing I am missing is web interface. It would be great to be able to enter new words from desktop.
5 ★ The application is great. Different types of quizzes, a wise strategy of learning, export/import, a lot of settings to adjust it for your needs. Thank you very much, it is probably the best one in its field. Could you also add the setting where you can tune the pace of losing rate of words. May be it also could be useful if a word starts losing the rate, for example 10 days after the last exercise.
4 ★ The app is centered around English in the 'writing words in examples' type of training : it does not work with flexion , nor with gramatical genres, nor with plural forms. It offers some defaults for the algorithm of word selection for trainings - but I still can not guess how to achieve 'smart selection' as done by Anki or by Fiszkoteka. Similar doubts about selecting 'difficulty level' in settings. Statistics and 'difficulty level' are global ie. apply uniformly to different tags/languages.
5 ★ this is my favourite app for learning words, actually. it finds translations in an instance and there're many cool excercies and a scale which decides whether you already know the word or not - it solves the problem of self control. Moreover, you can use it for more than one language which is very convenient. I'm really glad to have it!
4 ★ Really like this app, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it came with suggested translations that were correct pretty much 99% of the time. The only thing i felt was missing was some extra info on the word ( it does have some uses of it in sentence but not many), i would apreciate it if at least a spot for extra info was added so i could put things like reminders or notes on that i had found out about the word. Also if it could tell you what type of word it is eg, noun verb... Thanks alot!
4 ★ The app is very good but it makes no difference between verbs nouns and adjectives in training, so you easily choose the correct answer not because you know the meaning of the word, but because it's obviously a verb and there's only one verb in the options fo choose your answer from. If developers fix it, I'll rate it 5 Stars.

4 ★ Great app except for one thing, after having reduced the content of the tags to make it more manageable, it keeps reverting back to the way it was. I now make a backup after every session otherwise I lose not only all the work, buy also my progress. Could you please investigate. Thank you. I learn a lot using this app, I would hate to abbandon it.
5 ★ Updated review: Outstanding app, a credit to its developer. Very easy to use to create your own dictionary to review and learn your own words. You create your own tags to filter your list of words how you want. So far I have tags for genders, parts of speech and dates of lessons. There is also space for examples of use but you can use it for any text you like. Works with Greek (inc pronounciation) although not listed. Only snag = accented vowels do not follow unaccented alphabetically.
5 ★ It gives you possibility to have your own dictionary and to make exercises to memorize new words. Also I use it instead of online dictionary and then I safe words that I like to remember and skip the words that I decide to not include in my dictionary. I use it for two foreign languages in the same time. I highly recommend it.
