Description
In addition to detailed species portraits, the app offers convenient features for all insect fans and those who want to be there. Detailed information on individual insects are contained in 122 Artenpotraits. The selection of species based on data from naturgucker.de. They are the most frequently reported in Germany insects in recent years.
With the automatic photo-detection determining insect species is easy. A photo of the unknown insect can be re-recorded directly from the app or inserted from the library. The possible results of the determination are sorted in a list. The kind that is the photographed animal is most similar to the very top. From the list, the kinds Portraits can be called directly.
An additional service offer the watch lists. All observations can be easily saved in the app. Through various export options, data can be placed. They can be sent both to your own PC, and on naturgucker.de or the Nature Conservation Association (NABU e.V.).
The reporting option for NABU is designed for join-in campaign "Summer insects". The nationwide registration campaign for insects is aimed at all nature friends and nature lovers. At ten days in June and August all insects can be reported that are observed within an hour. the largest number of animals present at the same time is counted from any kind. So double counting is avoided. Who has the time and inclination, you can observe in several places and send more than one list. In the app, the various lists are displayed clearly.
This app is a handy tool for all nature friends and nature lovers who want their observational data make an important contribution to the insect research. The aim is to present an overview of the frequency of insect species in Germany, to identify trends and to help bring necessary precautions for the journey.

3 ★ Beim Exportieren konnte keine Verbindung zum Internet aufgebaut werden. Code:NoConnectionError Fehler kommy trotz vorhandenem wlan
2 ★ Die App hat eine fürchterliche, völlig un-intuitive Bedienung. Die Kamera-Funktion ist dürftig. Da vergeht einem die Lust am Insektenzählen ziemlich schnell.
4 ★ Die App ist eine super Idee - leider stürzt sie ständig ab auf Android 9.0
2 ★ Bestimmen-Button der automatischen Erkennung funktioniert nicht (Android 4.4.2)
3 ★ Hier einige Bugs ;) Absturz beim Export des Insekten Sommers - keine Übermittlung möglich. Wenn andere Art hinzugefügt wurde sprang das Formular beim speichern und falsche Art wurde eingeloggt. Löschfunktion wäre hilfreich.
3 ★ Für fast 400MB sehr wenig insekten. Ich finde die Einstellung und Beschreibung gut gelungen. Ich schätze es geht hauptsächlich um die insekten, die gezählt werden sollen. Dafür ist es wohl in Ordnung.
