Download the latest MyHyundai with Bluelink application, version 5.2.7, compatible with Windows 10/11 (using emulators such as Bluestacks), Android devices. This free Productivity app is developed by Hyundai Motor America and is easy to download and install.
Previous versions, including 5.2.7, 5.2.6, 5.2.0, are also available. If you need help or have any problems, please let us know.
Description
Access the app with your MyHyundai.com ID, password and PIN to take advantage of Bluelink’s Remote features. Log in and send commands conveniently using biometric authentication (fingerprint or face recognition). An active Bluelink subscription is required to use Bluelink features in the app. To renew or upgrade to either Remote or Guidance, please visit MyHyundai.com.
An active Bluelink Remote Package (R) or Guidance Package (G) subscription is required to access select features. Feature support varies by vehicle model. Please visit HyundaiBluelink.com to check what Bluelink features your vehicle supports.
With the MyHyundai app you can:
• Remotely start your vehicle (R)
• Remotely unlock or lock the door (R)
• Start your vehicle with saved presets you customize (R)
• View charging status, manage charging schedules and settings (EV and PHEV vehicles only) (R)
• Learn more about key features with user tutorials
• Remotely activate the horn and lights (R)
• Search and send Points of Interest to your vehicle (G)
• Access saved POI History (G)
• Make a Car Care service appointment
• Access Bluelink Customer Care
• Find your car (R)
• Access maintenance information and other convenient features.
• Check Vehicle Status (supported on select 2015MY+ vehicles)
• Access vehicle features with four phone widgets for Remote Features, Parking Meter, POI search and Ioniq EV vehicle
MyHyundai app also supports Wear OS smartwatch features. Use voice commands or the smartwatch menu to access select features.
With MyHyundai for Wear OS you can:

• Find your car (R)

The MyHyundai app asks for the following device permissions as needed:
• Camera: For adding driver and profile pictures
• Contacts: To select from phone contacts when sending secondary driver invites
• Location: For map and location functionality throughout the app
• Phone: For placing calls when tapping on buttons or links to call
• Files: For saving PDFs or other downloaded documents to the device
• Notifications: To allow push notification messages from the app
• Biometrics: For enabling fingerprint and/or face recognition for authentication

App permissions
MyHyundai with Bluelink 5.2.7 APK requires following permissions:
Allows access to the vibrator.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
Allows applications to access information about networks.
Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.
Allows applications to open network sockets.
Required to be able to access the camera device.
Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.
Allows an application to read from external storage.
Allows an app to access approximate location.
Allows an app to access precise location.
Allows an application to initiate a phone call without going through the Dialer user interface for the user to confirm the call.
Allows an application to read the user's contacts data.

4 ★ Almost great, the app delivers in most places where it should but lacks in a few and gets a couple completely wrong. The major points they got right are easy activation of certain features like the lock, the lights, and the climate. Where they go wrong is the notification at the bottom that is often delayed and may reflect something you did a long time ago. Lastly, it should automatically update every hour or two, or at least after turning the car off. But it doesn't which is annoying.
1 ★ After they updated to the new version of the app, it no longer shows the current location of the car when you request the location. I used this feature often to see when my wife was almost home from work (that sounds creepier than it is), so I can make sure I know when to start doing things like cooking diner, etc. The live location feature really need to come back or get added.
2 ★ After last app update, app home page always shows "Charging completed" even though charging is active. Previous home page would provide estimated time of charge completion. That is no longer provided. Previous home page provided option to stop charging. That is no longer provided. Odometer value is now inconsistent. Different pages show different values. "Send email to app support" function doesn't work.
5 ★ Update 12/6/23: It has been a while since my last review. They seem to fix the app. I haven't had any problems for the last 2 months. Upgrading it to 5 stars. Update 09/18/22: I started celebrating too early. Just got this door unlocked notification again. I'll be paying attention and call them again if it happens again. Downgrading to 2 stars. Original review: deleted because of number of letters limitation.
5 ★ I use this app literally every single day, multiple times per day. You can adjust the climate before remote start, you never have to worry about whether or not you locked your car because you can remote lock... Also find your car wherever you parked on a map. After the 3 year free trial it was absolutely worth the $10/mo for me. Cheap & couldn't go without.
1 ★ Newest update is terrible. Whenever I remote start the car, there is no confirmation whatsoever of the status. Also, notifications have been broken for more than a year. It doesn't matter how many updates they put out, there is always something wrong with the app. Maybe hiring more competent developers would be a start in the right direction?
1 ★ Update: it is now 2024 and no one can get Bluelink to work. I have purchased almost $100 in usb's at their request for the update, doesn't work. Everyone has given up and I am the one who has a non-functional system. Love my Hyundai, hate my Bluelink. Wish I could get a auto-remote installed without voiding my warranty. The first brand new car I have ever had and it has this issue. I am so disappointed.
1 ★ I was told blue link was an included feature when I bought my vehicle. It's not. If you use remote start, the lights flash & there's no way to disable the flashing lights. That's a safety concern because it draws attention to the vehicle. Map features only worked for about the first month. I'm forced to always use my phone for maps.
1 ★ Edit 12/6/23: down to one star doesn't work 75% of the time in a major town with excellent cell coverages Devspite being in very urban non-congested areas with plenty of cell signal, I would say about 1 out of 3 times, this will not work. It just fails or says it went through when it didn't. I doubt I'll renew after my 2023 kona's free period ends. it's just not worth it if it doesn't work, the car has wifi it could utilize as well it just doesn't even while it's sitting in my own driveway
4 ★ Pretty good, please keep improving! Mileage in app still doesn't match odometer after nearly 2 years. Climate start needs to use seat warmers and should log in as the user who started it. Navigation has errors more frequently than alternatives- a highway exit near me was moved to the right 2 years ago and the nav still shows the exit on the left. Add color coding and level # for charger levels to map. Diagnostic history should show ALL trouble codes thrown by date.
2 ★ The functionality works some times, communication with the car being far slower than it should be, but the actual UX is not great. Not something worth paying for once the included subscription expires. Also, after the latest update I can't login with error C406_1. Then when I try to report the issue through the app it also fails.
2 ★ Used to have Google assistant integration would love to have my car warm up on a schedule in the winter since I, like most people, leave at the same time every day. Or even just telling my Google assistant to start my car. App takes to long to load. "Climate Start Without Presets" take longer than the presets to use. To remote start my unlocked car with the app I have to open the app (wait) hit lock (wait up to a minute) open remote start (wait) hit the option (wait up to another minute)... WHY?
5 ★ I'm changing my rating from 5 stars to 1 star. As long as I had my free trial I never had a problem with this app. Now that I'm paying for a subscription the remote start doesn't work 4 out of 5 tries or not at all. Please fix this!! UPDATE******UPDATE!!!! 12/04/2023 I Called Hyundai customer service and the representative I talked to was awesome!! She talked me through updating my system and it fixed the problem in less than 10 minutes!! So if you're having a similar issue call them!!
1 ★ Inconsistent, works great sometimes, then just doesn't work at times, really frustrating. Keeps saying a prior request is being processed when there has been nothing requested for days, which is awesome when it's 20 degrees and you when to warm up the car and defrost the windows. Get your app working correctly.
5 ★ A great new interface is easy to use, and all the important information is present at a quick glance! Love being able to have multiple presets for remote start comes in handy for the cold nights or hot summer days! overall user-friendly, nice graphics, and great to use!
