2 ★ Liked the previous floor plan version better, where it would measure with phones camera. This one only let's you do 1 room and you have to measure it.
3 ★ Keep crashing if I press on menu
2 ★ This app has potential it just drastically needs to have a way to lock corners in place on plans. Also the option to use inch only measurements verses ft-in. Another thing that would be nice is individual project folders to organize the different file types into.
5 ★ When paired with my laser distance measurer makes plan layouts fast and easy.
2 ★ Not as good as the previous app. I design an entire house on the old one, with funishins and all. This has none of that and isn't as user friendly. Very basic and generic. Also, I would not let me move my plans from the old app to this one.
5 ★ Edited for response from Stanley You know, your email saying that you can use this app instead since floor planner was discontinued is most likely the reason for your low ratings on this app. Should have been 2 separate emails regarding the mitigation of Stanley floor planner to magicplan and the introduction of smart connect, sounds stupid but the effect would have been great. Thank you for letting me know I can keep my purchases via Magicplan, for this I shall change the rating of the app and judge it off it's current functions and not that of an older app.
3 ★ not the easiest to draw out a room on the fly. the icon for drawing out your plan has a pony wall coming out but it doesnt allow u to do that. well....not that i know. needs a tutorial. also when taking measurements of walls, it adjust previous measured walls making it a pain in the butt to use.

5 ★ Perfect for taking and storing measurements. I can add my measurements to a photo of my work site/surface which helps save my work site from my terrible memory. I always have my phone I don't always have pen and paper!
3 ★ Why does this app need access to the microphone? When you ask for more access you need to tell us why.
