With pre-loaded themes you can create pictures with growling dinosaurs, have fairies walk on your desk, attach masks to your friends’ faces and much more.
Discover amazing augmented reality scenes in the real world with your viewfinder. Sony's FACE RECOGNITION Technology and SmartAR* engine automatically detect faces and 3D environments and decorate them with fun AR items. The Palm recognition** engine detects palms and offers even more fun decorations.
You can enjoy Miniatures theme and 3D sticker from 3D Creator app*** only on 3D Creator-supported devices.
Please use 3D sticker from 3D Creator app.
How to open the downloaded theme:
1. Open the AR Effect app
2. Select the icon of the downloaded theme on the screen
Interaction with AR items:
1. Drag animations to change their position
2. Tap on an object and some objects will change (color/variation/action depends on theme content)

**Palm recognition uses the technology which is powered by Sony Deep Learning Solution. Palm recognition is supported on Android 5.0 or above devices that has QualcommR processor.

3 ★ I love AR effect but it needs more filters on the mascrade 1⃣ because thta is very boring 💤. Also I don't like how you need to download 3/4 of the filters so can you please fix that cause I don't like it. AR effect is good and well made just has some problems to me.

1 ★ This isn't just a bad app. This app is a war crime. This app, has the most unrealistic and unbelievably bad effects imported from the time of king oomba goomba and portrayed as a photography app. It has the worst motion tracking of any AR app ever, and it isn't even uninstallable in my Sony phone. I prefer to sell my soul to Satan instead of launching this app and I would gladly do that.
1 ★ What is this thats been on my sony all these months and i have no idea wth' space being used . Things ive never seen...or used. All i know is my camera do not take forward photos and it was sent back to sony , they return after almost 2months with an answer (nothings wronge ) 3months after i purchased it. As well as a ton of other tjings that dont work. Like trying to poat or allowing applications .
1 ★ Huawei's camera features and functions are better and greater than Sony's.I wrongly choosed Sony smartphone. Though I bought Sony Xperia Xa2 Ultra, it doesn't have light paintings feature as Huawei has. And the smartphone animation is the worst among all smartphones. I used Huawei smartphone and the screen resolution is even better than Sony Xperia Xa2 Ultra. Camera functions of Sony Xperia Xa2 Ultra are lesser than Huawei's camera functions. I promise that I won't buy Sony smartphones anymore. Huawei GR5 mini's light paintings camera feature can beat Sony Xperia XZ2.I wrongly choosed you, Sony.
3 ★ Heating issue... Phone model Sony Xperia z3+ flagship smartphone 2015. Sony smartphone is the best smartphone in the world. Go ahead.
1 ★ This is pretty horrible. My phone is more the capable to run this application and it's still buggy. The choices are limited and the picture quality is sub par at best.
5 ★ Why is the portrait mode camera not available for Android 8? I took many beautiful and funpictures of my daughters with them and would love to continue doing so. Hoping for the best. Thanks for great apps and products.
3 ★ I never really had the need to use this app. I would've uninstalled it but it's not possible on my phone. It is built well and has many features but it's just too laggy for me since my phone is a bit old now.
1 ★ That's why Sony 📱 are cheap! Overheating, crashes & acting up, freaz a lot, 🗑 of memory.... More or that's enough! No response from the customer service as they knew how bad they were, but to pay the bill I guess!
5 ★ excuse me? where is the so-called new features face animation on the miniatures and 3d stickers? if it's only for some new models, plz mention them instead of explaining like a general one. im using xz premium.
