2 ★ Got an email from Drop telling me that this app now supports Panda's... So I updated the firmware and tried everything but the app won't connect them. Edit: tried the re-pair multiple times before and after your comment, still not connecting.
1 ★ Had no problem connecting my Drop THX Panda headphones, but the app crashes every time I try to perform a preference test. Please fix it!
1 ★ Doesn't work. Downloaded it because of the Panda thx update. The app keeps closing whenever I try to do the hearing tests.
1 ★ App does not know you have a login.. Confirmed the account. Attempting to login and it continues to ask me to register.
3 ★ The app keeps on loading with the logo fading in and out. Super unstable which is really annoying.
4 ★ Great but would be nice if there was a sound profile for Sennheiser CX 400 BT. I would really appreciate it. Also, lossless FLAC that's 24 bit 96 kHz doesn't work for me... Edit: it works... But in a weird way. On shuttle it will work, but what seems to be the issue is the frequency correction curve with 44.1khz is multiplied with its bandwidth (what I'm thinking is that when a 88.2 kHz file is played, the curve is enlarged up to 88.2 kHz, making it incorrectly calibrate the file) hope it helps
3 ★ This equalizer is work well than any other apps, but there are some certain songs that cannot use the equalizer in youtube music. Example: Billie Jean, Feel Good, etc. Hope u can fix this. When I got to listen to Michael Jackson's song like Billie Jean, it's just automatically turn off the EQ from the notification. Then I try to listen to another song called Bring Back Life To Music by Daft Punk, the EQ would come back to the notification. Some songs that cannot play with EQ won't work for me.
4 ★ It works! It "fixes" my KZ ZS10 and made it sound awesomer, i love the A or B tests to ultimately set up what i like and never bother again. And then theres also the custom eq, just so that i can save a flat profile for when i want to. BUT apart from it not working for Youtube Videos (why can't it just apply the Eq systemwide/running on background indefinitely?), why do i need to be online to run SoundID? I understand that the profiles are linked to my account but can't it just save it locally?
5 ★ Spotify sounds superb (like their PC software Reference) but I wish I could use it with files saved to my phone, not just streaming services. Edit: I don't think it's a real app with a name, I'm going into the android file folder and just loading a .WAV In fact, could you recommend an app that plays local files that you know syncs with SoindID? Hey I'm trying to use VLC and it says I need to do something to make it work with SoindID but the article doesn't explain what that is. Works!
5 ★ I have been using Reference 4 for my computer and I absolutely cannot live without it, so when I heard about this, I was SUPER excited. I had tried it before, but it was in a beta at the time. I love how you can customize your sound ID and have it stay on when you're listening to Spotify or other music apps. I believe the next step would be to have it stay on for all the other apps instead of just Spotify, yt music, and other streaming services. This has amazing potential!
4 ★ I have Sonarwork Reference 4 on my desktop and use it for both production and casual listening. SoundID is great for my mobile device and takes my Sony XM4's to a whole new level, however, I find the UI clunky and hard to navigate around with ease, making adjustment with it is not great, but thats a minor downside. The desktop side needs some improvement however, I will still use Reference 4 on desktop as I have more customisation available, and can therefore get a better sound. Overall a thumbs up.
5 ★ App takes a bit to set up but as someone who has been tweaking eqs for the perfect option and using nuraphones due to its absolutely amazing sound due to its personalization, this made my xb-900n's sound better (Used the XB950N1 Signiture because it's only a few dB off on most frequencies and uses the same drivers) it's night and day after using the app for a bit!
3 ★ This app work well when it's in the right condition but in my opinion you guys need to make it support system wide and please add akg m220 pro. And I also have an idea how to make this app support system wide audio and-or Android below 9.0. I don't know if you actually could do this but I think you could use the accessibility features inside Android like Equalizer FX and sound amplifier (bygoogle) and Neutralizer(no need accessibility).If you guys are actually looking into it.give me a feedback.
4 ★ As others have stated the setup is a bit thorough. The results positively clear. The app certainly improved overall sound definition and quality. I'm only going to b|tch about one thing and that one thing is why this rating wasn't 5 stars. The choices for adaptability to external hardware are limited to older options. For instance I have j bird x4s and there is only an option for x3s. I wonder if there is a difference in sound quality between the two versions.
4 ★ I am cursed with the W curve of the Focal Listen Pro, so I use the godly Reference 4 in my studio. However, I wish I could gain the ability to adjust Dry/Wet on how flat I desire the correction curve to be on this app the same way as in Reference 4 (if possible). Also one question; Is the flat EQ profile in SoundID equivalent to Reference 4 at 100% wet/Flat signal? All I want is a Focal Listen Pro profile at 50% correction, willing to help a dude with poor headphone choice out?
