Description
Inverter commissioning has never been this easy. Activating and configuring your inverter is now done directly through your smartphone using the SetApp mobile application. All the information you need is in the palm of your hand.
Commissioning your installation is quick and simple with step-by-step instructions and easy to read menus.
• SetApp communicates between your smartphone and the inverter’s built-in Wi-Fi. No need for internet connection on site.
• Simultaneous configuration of up to 31 additional devices from the master inverter (Feature will be available later this year)
• Don’t worry about your phone running out of battery — inverters have a built-in connector to charge your smartphone

3 ★ Definitely needs remote setting instead of physically having to be there. But otherwise okay. Safety wise it is better to be there physically but this is not always possible.

1 ★ Garbage won't let owner do anything have to be certified installer
1 ★ Worthless for consumers. I need to disable LAN and enable WiFi. Normal SolarEdge app wont let me so this. Absolute garbage. Please allow the use of setapp for normal users or fix the regular app to allow change from LAN to WiFi!
1 ★ Forces a firmware update that takes 17 minutes every time and if you dont have good celluar service good luck. . Lacking array map or editor to see each panel. If you do a reinstall on a systen and you dont.have monitoring access to the site that might be a problem. Solar edge is replacing the H(last 30-50mwh maybe) and A series with a cheap inverter. No thank you. They should include the lcd screens and the green button. That was easy this is stupid.
