Description
Do you use Google Voice? Did you ever wish it was easier to change the Google Voice call forwarding settings in your account (between Google Chat, your mobile phone, your home phone, etc.)? Do you like your Google Voice calls to be forwarded differently based on whether your mobile phone is currently using WiFi or cellular data? Are you a GrooVe IP user and want your Google Voice calls forwarded differently based on the registration state of GrooVe IP? If yes, this app is the answer you have been looking for!
In the "manual" mode, GrooVe Forwarder lets you make changes to your Google Voice call forwarding settings with one click. No need to start a browser, go to the appropriate URL, navigate to the correct screen and then finally make the change!
To make life even easier, GrooVe Forwarder lets you configure how you want your Google Voice calls to be forwarded when your mobile phone is on WiFi or cellular data. Once so configured, the settings in your account will be automatically updated as you move between WiFi and cellular data networks.
In addition, if you are a GrooVe IP user, and you want different call forwarding settings based on whether GrooVe IP is operational (running and registered to Google network) or not, you can configure this once in GrooVe Forwarder. From then on, your Google Voice call forwarding settings will be updated automatically based on the state of GrooVe IP.

5 ★ If you want this for fallback without cellular connection this is very simple. This is how to set it up so that Google Voice works on WiFi only, in the event that you cannot get a cell signal. Use the automatic settings feature. It should say that your Google Voice number is forwarding calls to your GrooveIP number. This is how it should be configured. Answer the questions in this order 1. YES 2. Groove IP 3. CELLULAR PROVIDER 4. CELLULAR PROVIDER 5. CELLULAR PROVIDER. On prepaid you'll see "GoPhone", or MetroPCS, etc. So it will be 1. YES 2. Groove IP 3. GoPhone 4. GoPhone 5. GoPhone. Turn off your cellular data to test it, then turn it back on if it works. You'll also need to set up (within the Groove IP app), for the app to only be signed in on WiFi.
4 ★ The options provided by this app are perfect for me. BUT, it uses more mobile data than any other app on my phone. The only time it should use mobile data is when I go off my home WiFi, which happens exactly once per day, to change from Google Talk calls to cell calls. This should be a few KB at most. Instead it somehow manages to use 1.2 MB in the couple hours that I am actually on cell data. I pay per mb and this is not acceptable. What's going on here?
5 ★ Easy to understand, either forward the calls to your Google number, your landline on file or both. I personally only forward all my calls to my Google number and it has never failed me.
1 ★ Poor implementation, keeps un-forwarding phones. This should be such a trivial program I am surprised at how poorly it works.
5 ★ This should be part of the paid GrooveIP app...but it works flawlessly and fills a big gap in my VOIP setup. Great work!

5 ★ For lazy people like myself, people without a PC or people that have no idea how to change gvoice settings this does the trick. Perfect addon to Grove IP but IMHO it should've just been a feature of the paid Groveip app.
5 ★ I use text+ calling and groove forwarder to disable forwarding to my cell when im on wifi automatically. Works great for me and updates within a minute of getting wifi
