Having been given previously by the municipality a small land located on St. Joseph Street, corner of Alexandria street and judged generally unsuitable for the construction of future capella, offered Mr. Manoel Bezerra a piece of land in Tram curve, is starting out then and there, the work of construction. There between the street and the present building land of John Alexandrian of Lima, was the one bought for a capella.

The license of construction capella was given by the diocesan administrator in July, as part of the following term:

In view of the required us Revdo. Mr. Bissinger Father Joseph, vicar of Rosemary, in order to be granted the necessary license for the creation of a capella, under the invocation of St. John the Baptist in place "Lagoon Sêca", his parish, after we have approved the plant of the same capella, and everything into consideration the need for donation of the land on which will be built said capella, by deed under the law. We will pleased to give the filed license, and for the rest, servatis de jure servandis.
