5 ★ This app was a lifesaver. So many great details about where to go, parking areas, little hidden gems, wear to eat, go to the bathroom and on and on. It made our Road to Hana trip enjoyable and stress free. And we LOVED hearing the history of the island along the way. The best part was being able to download the app to my phone so we had to issues when we had no service which was 90% of the time. Highly recommend!!

5 ★ This guide made the road to hana a completely stress free drive. He tells you the important stops, where the restrooms are, the food, how much time you have left before turning around. I loved the history of the island incorporated as well! Would recommend this to anyone who plans on going to see hana.

5 ★ So helpful. We planned out what we wanted to do, but once we realized we wouldn't have cell service we bought and downloaded this last minute. Soooo helpful! The way you narrated every turn so we knew what was coming up and where to park was beyond helpful to make it a smooth trip!!

4 ★ Great information and love it works with Google maps to get you to the start of the tour. We joked the narrator sounds Jamaican though. He does a great job and they keep info up to date. We would have loved to know more ahead of time about park appointments etc though so we could have visited Black Sand Beach.

I got the reverse road to hana. loved the stories and music. only comment I would make is be a little more detailed on where the stops were for the water falls. it seemed I had to either go really slow or slam on my breaks to get in the parking to see them. Also due to covid reservations are needed for some areas and a lot of the stands on the side of the road are closed.

5 ★ We love, love, love Shaka tours, we used them on the Big Island and now on Maui. We get Sooo much more out of our trips than we would on our own! Easy to follow, great stories, useful up to date) information. Our only problem with these tours is that they are Only Hawaii!! Wish we had them everywhere!!

4 ★ This was a great guide! We were able to go to some great places. We appreciated knowing what we could pass by when we were getting short on time. It was also very informative about a lot of interesting things. We couldn't get it to play thru the van speakers. We did 1/2 the reverse Road to Hana in 1 full day before it got dark. We went back a couple days later and did until dark. We didn't get close to doing everything but loved the hikes, especially to the waterfalls with swimming holes!

5 ★ Super helpful app. It will make your Road To Hana tour so much more contextual. The historical and cultural info is super helpful and fun. Road signs and turn offs are not obvious so being told when and where to turn off and what to expect was the best aspect of this app.

5 ★ Great! We used it for 3 separate tours in Maui. Informational and interesting, also enjoyed the music. It would have been nice to have a reverse tour around the loop of west Maui. A local recommended going counter clockwise and the app only worked clockwise. We still used it, just manually clicked on all the spots as we went around.

5 ★ WELL worth the few bucks for the entertainment, the great pointers, the history from this app. My teenagers loved it and was always making sure I turned it back on. The tour guide does an awesome job of checking in every so often and it was fun to hear the music. Don't leave home without downloading these tours!

4 ★ Had issues with app loading initially but after I could login and download the tour it work fantastically, a very detailed turn by turn guide with great tips, information, history and even some awesome Hawaiian music in-between destinations. The only reason it's not getting a perfect score is the issues with logging in and inability to reach technical support but other then that it's a great tool for the road to Hana that I highly recommend. Great job Shaka 👏.

5 ★ Very satisfied with these wonderful tours! Did the road to Hana full loop, the west Maui loop, and Haleakala. We always explore on our own, and this app was like having our own private tour guide. Informative and entertaining. Highly recommend.

3 ★ The tour, reverse Hana was had very good information. Especially info on needing to make a reservation for black sand beach (saved the trip). However the 3 star rating is due to the color commentary. The whole time the narrator spoke in a mostly neutral voice with perhaps a slight Hawaiian accent. However when it came to the "jokes" it went very heavy on a Hawaiian/Jamaican accent that at times felt offensive, to the point my kids unprompted said why does he change his voice for every joke

5 ★ It was very easy to use, and super convenient to have during the road to Hana. The guide tells you when to turn and whatnot, so it might be a little more difficult for other tours but I'm not sure. Overall, well worth the price. Fun and interesting history too!

5 ★ We used the Shaka guide on our trip yesterday. It worked out really well, the stories were great. As a suggestion, in the dead space more music would be great. The only downside we found was the guide didn't seem to mention calling the Park Service for conditions at the Seven Sacred Pools until we were near them and there was no cell service. The pools were closed and we didn't find out until we got there. Had we known, we may have forgone going all the way and spent more time at another place.
