Description
Belonging to Fecomércio System, the National Commercial Training Service - SENAC is the largest organization of professional education in the country in the goods trade industry, services and tourism. It is a national, autonomous entity of private law, created by Decree Law No. 8621 on 10 January 1946, present in 26 Brazilian states and the Federal District.

In Brazil Senac was implemented in January 1947, before a national scenario where worldwide industrialization transformed not only the mode of production, but the life of cities, customs and needs.
In this new configuration of the Brazilian social matrix is extremely important proliferation Senac in all states, since the trade and service sectors needed skilled labor to work in many existing jobs.
In the Amazon the first unit was installed in Manaus on 25 February 1973 initially offering the Commercial Training courses. Currently has 10 regional Educational Units - between Centers of Professional Education, Specialized Centers, School Restaurant and Beauty Laboratories - installed in Manaus and in the municipalities of Manacapuru, Itacoatiara, Parintins, Tefé and Coari.
In its units in the capital and other cities, the institution offers numerous on-site courses and distance, investing continuously in commitment to social inclusion through programs that promote local development, improving the employability levels of the population and dissemination of knowledge facing the world of work.
