Description

ViewTech is a software based, multi-point, high-definition, hybrid-cloud based, video collaboration service that runs on multiple platforms. It can support meetings hosted across JPVTC/s worldwide video cluster. It permits users to connect in a dynamic display of multiple video images, multiple simultaneously shared desktops with public and private text chat. It connects PCs running Windows & Mac to mobile devices running Android and iOS.

ViewTech is a free app but requires a paid subscription. The subscription service is offered by JPVTC. You may use the ViewTech app to attend meetings with people who are subscribed to the service. Without own subscription you will not be able to host your own meetings. ViewTech video conferencing makes collaboration easy. It is good for companies and enterprises with employees and business partners who need to collaborate in a highly effective manner remotely and across many locations.

App permissions

Viewtech Android Client 1.1 APK requires following permissions:

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Required to be able to access the camera device.

Allows an application to modify global audio settings.

Allows an application to record audio.

Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

Allows applications to access information about networks.

This constant was deprecated in API level 21. No longer enforced.

Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.

Allows access to the vibrator.

Allows applications to connect to paired bluetooth devices.

Allows applications to discover and pair bluetooth devices.

Allows an application to read from external storage.
