1 ★ the app really sucks. i was unable to switch my payment method. even if i select a different card it doesn't switch. so when i tried to remove one card both cards got removed and now I'm unable to add any card. when i go to payment method screen, the app freezes. for a payment app, why is it so difficult to use payments? nincompoops designed this app.
4 ★ Great app to use to pay at several take out places near my office where I generally get lunch. Love that I can get a bonus after spending a certain amount. I do wish that I can see the credit easily from the app. Right now I have to look at the last transaction from that restaurant.
1 ★ i called a restaurant recently to place an order and they insisted i use this app. i asked if the cost was the same as the restaurant. they insisted it was. of course i then had to pay a service charge to level up... thus the restaurant fibbed to say the least. i tried reading their dense legalize merchant agreement to see if the restaurant was legally not able to take my order. i couldnt find it. but i understand that that requirement is often standard these agreements
2 ★ I want to like it... On my new-er phone ( Pixel 3) the QR is blurry. Tried it with my older phone (5x) and it's super easy and I got a nice discount. As I won't be caring 2 phones around, going to shelf this one until there is an update.
1 ★ Serious QC issues. The payment service has downtime, not always reliable. Blurry QR code as others mentioned. The watch app stopped worked, it exits as soon as I try to open it. The last update didn't fix it.
1 ★ I used LevelUp once many months ago. Yesterday, someone was able to hack my account and order food costing more than $100 using LevelUp. LevelUp is issuing me a refund but just the fact that someone was able to hack my account makes me question their security protocol.
2 ★ The app works great except that there was no confirmation for my total even after the order was placed and confirmed. It's a scary thing to put your card in and not get a final confirmation
2 ★ Rewards aren't synced up with other apps. For example, potbelly currently has a Bogo but it only shows in there app, not the level up app. Kind of annoying because I hoped I could get rid of the individual restaurant apps and just keep this one app.
2 ★ QR code is very blurry on Pixel 3 and 4 devices. Scanning is unreliable and slow because of it. Support responds but never resolves the issue. Very unfortunate. Should be an easy fix.
1 ★ Potbellys lost a customer. Tried to order as a guest and their website demanded an email. After submitting, it demanded i download this app. I signed up with la madaline years ago. Hence now i am tied to this stupid app. Tried resetting the password (cuz its been years) and still havent received a password reset link. 30min later, forget the stupid sandwhiches, im getting kungpow chicken tonight. Any fast food place using this thing, just know your not getting my order.
2 ★ Crashes all the time. App does not let you switch credit cards without crashing. Had to use the website instead.
1 ★ Worst app I can think of for food ordering. Takes 30-50mins every time I need to update a payment source due to how slow, terrible and prone to crashing to app is.
1 ★ This app in my honest opinion is designed for hackers to use your damn card repeatedly without you knowing about until several charges later. My debit card was hacked and because of this app they were able to purchase food several times repeatedly from KFC.
1 ★ Wear OS app doesn't actually work, just spins and runs down the battery. Don't bother, stick with the phone app or use Google Pay.
1 ★ The app is unusable on Android 10. QR code is blurry. Tried it on two separate phones, same result even after a reset.
