5 ★ Great application. One thing: let users add comprehensible note to a file name so it's easier to distinguish recordings.

4 ★ It's okay. I need a voice recorder for keeping track of mileage and time on jobs and this technically works. Pain in the neck that there's no link in the app to go to recordings, the location in the help is wrong because newer versions of android don't let apps use the sd card, the app can't play back or list recordings and it records in a weird format with no default app to open it. No frills, but no ads or in-app purchases, so it's a winner. Would be nice to handle the recordings in the app, though, with time and date stamps for figuring out billing. Added another star because the developer responds to input, which means they care about the app and it's users.
2 ★ Can only record in 3gpp format. This may be fine for some people but this was a deal breaker for me.
