Find Your Kids | Relay 2.4.9-2 APK requires following permissions:

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.

Allows an app to create windows using the type TYPE_APPLICATION_OVERLAY, shown on top of all other apps.

Allows access to the vibrator.

Allows an app to access approximate location.

Allows an app to access precise location.

Allows an application to record audio.

Marker permission for applications that wish to access notification policy.

Allows applications to perform I/O operations over NFC.

Allows applications to change Wi-Fi connectivity state.

Allows an application to modify global audio settings.

Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.

Allows a calling application which manages it own calls through the self-managed ConnectionService APIs.

Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

5 ★ Love Love Love this App and Service.

3 ★ Generally slow and hard to maintain contact with a Relay unit. This is a nice idea, but in practice it was hard to stay in contact with my son and his relay using this app. If the app isn't open, there's a 50% chance I'll miss his calls. Then have to listen to all the old messages to hear his last communication. Just not easy to use on the go. Also, the GPS tracking has several minutes of delay, and you can't see the day's track on the map. We ended up just buying an old-fashioned flip phone.

2 ★ Bought this device in hopes that I could listen in whenever I wanted, not just a 2 way walkie talkie. The GPS was decent, could definitely use some improvement and the battery life is sub par at least. Overall pretty disappointed especially when a monthly subscription is required.

2 ★ It's great when it works. Tracking always puts my kid in Shanghai rather than anywhere in Virginia. So, that element is pointless right now. At times we cannot communicate in spots we could the day before. When it works, I love it. Just wish it were more reliable. Customer service is pretty responsive. The location feature is better but more issues make the device pointless and it doesn't seem like there's a clear resolution. This may not be worth getting after all. I had high hopes. Disappointed

5 ★ I love getting voice messages from my boy, very cute. You don't get that with cell phone since kids text. Mon son is 11 years and loves it. He likes the walkie-talkie style, the daily jokes and he has his music. I can locate him and talk to him (and i got his cute messages). Excellent alternative to cell phones - I wish i had that for my daughter. But please give us the option to change this robotic voice. Still a ***** without any hesitation.

3 ★ It is fine for communicating with my child. However, it would be nice to have a custom option for volume and tone. It is easy to miss a call from my child. Also, the GPS is not very accurate. Right now the device is in our house, but the device is registering as across the street, even including the circle of error. And, the GPS does not seem to update with any regularity.

2 ★ I love this concept, if it would work 100%, it would be a great app, the app needs more work it's very buggy. And the actual relay itself, it keeps on getting disconnected I have the relay for week and I needed to restart it, or reboot it at least once a day so hopefully they're going to make new updates in the future and it's going to be better. so for now I am giving 2 stars sorry!

3 ★ Update: Customer service is amazing and quick to respond and fix problems in the software. Hopeful this device/app works. I cannot get this app or the device to work properly for any length of time (and I have done all the trouble shooting suggested). The device continually does not send notifications to my phone when attempting to talk, and the app continually wants me to activate the device although it's already activated. Or the device isn't on the server.

5 ★ This is the 3rd tracker for my child that I have tried and it is the best in my opinion. It is easy to set up and only $10 a month to use (no hidden fees). I can message my child and watch my child's location in real time. As I am getting to know how to use it more I had to contact customer service and they responded quickly and checked in with me several times. Very helpful and extremely nice. It is not expensive and totally worth $10 a month to have the peace of mind of my child's safety

4 ★ Would recommend adding a time/date stamp to the kids receiving the messages especially if they're not checking it immediately. They don't know if the message is from 5mins ago or 30mins. This is especially important when I'm leaving a message to let the kids know that I'm on my way or if I'll be picking them up late, etc. It would also be very helpful if the "everyone chat" would log the recorded messages so that both parents can hear what's being communicated to the group and not just the kids

5 ★ Installed latest update , now app fails to load and crashes instantly on startup. Cant access relays at all. *Edit* Quick response from them and they were very understanding and working on a patch for the current update issues. The relay has its quirks but so far each issue i have had they have been quick to get back and work on a sution. Great support team.

5 ★ Amazing! I love having this for my son, i feel more at ease with him playing outside with friends in the neighborhood. I can track him and comminicate with him. Its also handy making sure he is getting on the bus on time in the mornings while i am at work and i can see him moving as he is on the bus! Ive had it for a couple of months and it works perfectly! I recomend this to any parent who want their kids to have freedom while also wanting piece of mind as well without cell phones.

4 ★ Great service and the last round of improvements make it seem it's finally arriving. It does take some work to train kids under 6 to use it, but the older ones catch on pretty quickly. One feature I would like is being able to set a special notification tone for the app to help distinguish it from the normal noise.

2 ★ It doesn't work if you don't have the app actively open on your phone (or if the screen shuts off). Your child just gets "nobody is active in your group." I do, VERY occasionally, get a notification saying that she is trying to talk to me, but it is NOT dependable. The entire point of buying this and subscribing to the service is for RELIABLE communication, does not meet expectations. It only gets 2 stars because location tracking has been extremely accurate and I am pleased with that feature.
