4 ★ The app itself is great. Gave 4 stars due to intermittent connectivity issues with the controller. Also, I wish the rain sensor could send more information to the app. Also would be nice if you could pause individual programs.
2 ★ App has all the needed functionality, but is extremely sluggish (like waiting several seconds after tapping a control to respond). Has frequent communication issues with the controller (i.e. Rainbird servers) even though there is a solid Wi-Fi connection and internet connection.
1 ★ Well since this product only works with Android 8.0 and later it is no good anymore. I have Android 10 and the unit will not even communicate with my phone. Not able to find an updates application either. I can't get it connected to the wifi either.
1 ★ Controller no longer seems to want to EVER connect to the internet... Worked okish a couple years ago. But those last couple updates have made it impossible to connect. Seems they want people to go to other brands that make products that ACTUALLY WORK!!!!!!
1 ★ Not up to par. Connects to controller sporadically. Initial setup can be frustrating. Error messages/faults on clock do not appear in app. Time must be changed manually at the clock. I am accustomed to working with Rainbird products on the commercial side, and had higher expectations for this app. Wouldn't buy this feature again for my residential use. Less frustrating to just program things directly at the clock. Overall disappointed.
2 ★ The seasonal adjustment is broken. For example, if the max run time is programmed to be 20 mins and the seasonal adjustment auto corrects it to 50 % , then the program runs for 10 mins - as expected. Next day , it the seasonal adjustment wants to correct to 60%, then it changes the max programmed value to 10 mins and then applies the next run time as 6 mins. That is, everytime the program runs, the run time is less and less. Plus, the wifi module doesn't have a strong radio performance.
4 ★ I'll give 90 points out of 100. The only complain is that it does not automatically change the time DST on ESP-ME wifi. If possible I'll will like the function incorporated. As for the operation of the controller, and the app function I consider to be excellent. The seasonal adjustment is saving me money/water. Very happy overall.
1 ★ Getting it to connect to the timers is about as likely as being struck by lightning... Twice. Serious update is necessary because this is simply ridiculous.
1 ★ Every year at the start of the season; same old problem: communication error. Once again I have wasted the best part of my weekend on this. Wifi, Rainbird schmy !
3 ★ Google home won't connect to my controller (but connects to all my other smart devices). The other features of the Rainbird app seem to work fine.
4 ★ Back to normal( may 13 21).It stopped working after this last update. ( may 12 21) The wifi module shows green light as connected to router but something on their side of the server is not.
3 ★ App was working fine for 2 1/2 years. For the past week though. The days on the App show MTWTFSS. When I set Program A to start on Sunday at 6pm. I have to push the M. Each day is off by one day. Other than that this App has worked fine.
2 ★ Seasonal adjustment is broken. Calculations seem wrong - like it's applying the adjustment multiple times. Greatly reduces usefulness of the app and frustrates me as I have to keep re-programming my stations. Please fix.
1 ★ It just rarely works. It takes so many attempts just to get it to start watering that I could have gone outside and turned it on manually at least 50 times before getting this app to successfully start a manual water.
1 ★ This has worked about 3 times if the 20+ times I have tried to n connect to it. It's just a poorly designed program and software.
