Description
Using our check-in feature, you can simply press a button to send your current location to your parent. This offers you peace of mind that your child has made it safely to their destination.
To do this, the Bark app will need access to photos/videos, contacts, the list of installed apps on the device, and browsing history. We use Accessibility to monitor your child's third-party message data.
Additionally, we use a VPN service to monitor your child's internet traffic for harmful content even when the app is not in use. Bark collects read and write call log data to enable contact monitoring even when the app is not in use
App permissions
Bark for Chromebooks 6.28.0 APK requires following permissions:
Allows an application to read from external storage.
Allows an application to write to external storage.
Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows an app to access approximate location.
Allows an app to access precise location.
Allows applications to access information about networks.
Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.
Allows an application to read the user's contacts data.
Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.
Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.
Permission an application must hold in order to use ACTION_REQUEST_IGNORE_BATTERY_OPTIMIZATIONS.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
Allows access to the vibrator.

1 ★ Says I'm watching porn when my phone is powered off and I'm sleeping. Great. Job. Just magnificent. Almost punished for something I haven't done because of a retarded app. Also it has all my passwords and could sell all my information at anytime. I hope that all the people who work on bark lose all motor skills in the middle of highway 202.

1 ★ This app is such a waste of money and storage. I am a responsible kid with responsible friends and I never get in trouble. If I were to have a problem with social media that I couldn't handle I would get help. Not only had bark caused me to no longer trust my mom but it has caused us to have some problems. I no longer believe that my mom trusts me because of bark therefore I no longer really trust her. I highly recommend if you value your children's trust that you do not download this problem causing app.
1 ★ now it is always casting my phone to bark great just great this app sucks and makes my parents more nervous as i try to find loopholes because i feel always watched. my parents probably see this now and the whole app probably is selling data to china edit: i genuinely hate it

1 ★ If I could rate this 0 stars, I would. As a 13 year old, me and my friends curse alot, and this app thinks that I'm being bullied. I'm fine with letting my mom know where I am, but I am NOT okay with her knowing EVERYTHING that is on my phone: my Instagram feed, my Snapchat, my Tumblr. If a parent needs to use this app, it is evident that they have trust issues, and thats not that our problem as children. I personally have felt me and my mom have drifted apart since I was forced to get this app.
4 ★ my bark for kids app turns off at night. it is very odd. sometimes, it turns off by itself. it is odd.
1 ★ My mom is abusive and with forcing me to download this app she took away my support system because I can't talk about what she does with out it reporting to her that I'm talking about her. Note to parents: this will only make your kid lose all trust they might have had in you. I used to tell my mom everything but now that she's spying on my I barely tell her anything
1 ★ I think this app is bad because it invades your privacy and you can't joke around or be in group chats with anyone or watch whoever you want. I can't do anything without this app alerting me. It's so sensitive about what I do on the internet I just asked my friend a question and it alert my parents as cyberbullying 🙄. Even if you don't even do anything in a group chat it will alert you, sometimes the app alerts you for no reason.
5 ★ Even as a child this is something I like. I can tell my parents where I am. THIS IS A GOOD APP! Kids say it's not because they can't watch inappropriate stuff. 5/5
3 ★ I am torn on how I feel about this app. Of course, I want to protect my kids, however, having to grant permissions for the app to see pretty much EVERYTHING on their devices. I think maybe if a parent could choose which of these things are of most concern, it would help. I think a lot of the negative reviews are unfair because they are from kids who are just mad that their parents are being proactive.

1 ★ I have no privacy at all. this app pisses me off so much because my parents see almost every thing me and my friends talk about. They don't need to know me and my friends private life's that's why they are called PRIVATE life's. Hate this app so much it really stresses me out too because of how sensitive it is I searched up how to refill weed eater line and it notified my parents as drug and alcohol abuse. Me and my friends we're texting and I told him to shut up just to be funny and it notified them as cyber bullying. Hate this app so much.
