App permissions

Agenda 1.1.2 APK requires following permissions:

Allows an application to write to external storage.

Allows access to the list of accounts in the Accounts Service.

Allows access to the vibrator.

Allows an application to read the user's contacts data.

Allows an application to read the user's calendar data.

Allows an application to write the user's calendar data.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

Allows applications to read the sync settings.

Allows applications to read the sync stats.

Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.

Allows an app to access precise location.

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows an application to read from external storage.

1 ★ I used to have a Psion Revo 5 and it had a layout that was taking good advantage of the landscape orientation. Here many settings are missing imho - split Todo list onhalf the screen and day or week or month calendar on the other half was awesome - in fact I'd love that to be an option. - Id like it to be the first and app to be aways opened when opening the Cosmo. It was an awesome advantage on the Psion. - a completely private agenda, making the Planet Sync adapter an option.

1 ★ Doesn't work - immediately crashes upon loading. Used to work before Nov 2018 update and in the 5 months since there is no sign of a fix. Does it work on the Gemini? This has put me off buying one as it appears that one of the core apps doesn't work and nobody is bothered at Planet Computers to fix it.

2 ★ Running a Pixel 2 XL. Crashes immediately on startup, even after a reboot. Really wanted to see what the app is like before I committed to buying a Cosmo. The note application seems to run fine. If someone can get it working i'll be happy to change my score. It ran on my Samsung Chromebook Pro and upon installation it asks for permissions to my calendar which i gave but the syncing just times out. It tries to get me to sign in but won't take my current google account that's already logged in

2 ★ So sad to see it's based on the Google calendar database, and that it needs those permissions. I tried this to get away from Google rubbish. I also hate the graphics. It just makes me want a Psion again. This app simply doesn't compare. What a waste of talent, assuming it works of course.

1 ★ Reminders arrive either very late or very early. I'm writing this review at 4:30 am having just been woken up by reminders for an appointment five days in the future. The reminder is set for one hour ahead of the appointment. This application is an unusable disaster and I'm now going to uninstall it for good. Avoid.

1 ★ This app cannot work well on my Gemini PDA. In week view, I cannot move to today by "today" button and cannot scroll backward and forward by week too.

1 ★ Looks great but doesnt work on PDA! Its all blank with nothing in it, even though I have a ton of contacts and diary events!

2 ★ The latest update has rendered the app useless as on invoking the app, an error message pops up that Agenda has stopped, and to open app again.

1 ★ had high hopes for this app but 5 months on and its still crashing when you try and load it . so sad its not been fixed .

1 ★ Does not work on Pixel 3 xl. Force closes. Look at the reviews. It has put me off the Gemini PDA. Won't be buying one.

5 ★ Thank you for making this fabulous app available on Android. I have used it for years on Psion 5s and revised. PLEASE MAKE A IMPORTANT from the Psion files. Thanks

2 ★ Needs permissions.. Is basically harder to use Google Calander. And has recently stopped functioning
