Jüdische Orte in Bayern APK

The aim of the project "Jewish places in Bavaria" is an innovative virtual Jewish Museum Bavaria. Using the app Jewish memorial sites can be developed and can be experienced on site.
In the pilot project presented here - affiliated to the exhibition "Jewish in Bamberg" in the city of Bamberg Gallery - Villa Dessauer - Ten sites were initially selected in Upper Franconia. They are examples of various topics such as religion, Judaism, life in the country, training of children or emigration in the 19th Century. They all illuminate a spotlight on an aspect of Jewish life in Upper Franconia and thus yield a puzzle that raises new associations, depending on composition and perspectives.
In this case, the view from the Middle Ages to the present, and the present use of Jewish cultural heritage.
Based on the submitted application, other institutions and communities in Bavaria, dealing with their Jewish history, dock in the future. The goal is a gradual extension to all of Bavaria and if possible the whole of Germany.
