Description
From the Pix-Star Snap app, you can add and manage the email addresses of your loved ones' Pix-Star Wi-Fi frames and start sending photos, videos and audio messages from your iPhone or iPad to the saved frames in seconds from ANYWHERE in the world with a simple tap of your finger.
This app includes:
Add or delete Pix-Star frame email addresses (contacts)
Send up to 30 photos at a time
Send videos up to two minutes long
Send audio messages up to two minutes long
Send photos and videos to multiple frames at once
No need to create and send your message from your Phone email
Simple and intuitive user interface
Browse, select, and send existing albums and photos on your iPhone and iPad

1 ★ Cant upload pics after new update. I have a droid. Not sure about Apple. Have seen responses by pixstar support to similar reviews. I can't believe that the issue is something each and every person has to call the support line to fix. Just paid a lot of money for a digital picture frame that I can't send pics to now. Please fix as soon as possible.
3 ★ Simple Concept that works. Not a lot of available features. It doesn't access albums in Android, just the system files. Therefore it is not easy to organize for sharing. For instance, if I wanted to share the same set of photos accross a couple frames. I would have to select and send each set everytime. This makes it very cumbersome to touch up photos and then send. Accessing the album's would be the easiest way to solve.
1 ★ Spanning many years at this point, the Pix-Star frame has been an essential element in sharing life's greatest moments with grandparents and family on the other side of the world. However, the inability of a a photo app to access a folder structure renders it useless to anybody who is organized. Our use case is to share our greatest DSLR family pictures from dedicated folders on the tablet, not the other 12k+ images on the device, such as travel receipts from the internal camera.
1 ★ Not a management app. What a piece of garbage! You can use the app to send your media to the frame...THAT'S IT! How useless. You still have to use the web interface to manage the images so why would anyone waste their time with either pixstar app? I actually saw one response from pixstar trying to explain how this is a good app. SMH that anyone would put their name on this pathetic coding attempt... don't waste your time here.
3 ★ I love the ease of uploading, but I really wish I could review my selections and recordings before they send to the frame. I'm sending them to grandparent's frames and want to make sure I am sending the right thing. I also wish I could see what I've sent historically so that I know if I've sent something already (I can't keep track mentally of who I've sent what to... not with chasing after a toddler all day)..
1 ★ I just downloaded this app today. I want to send photos to my parents frame I bought them. Nowhere on the app can I find a frame to login into. It automatically says I'm operating off my email account. Where are the frame options. Reading the reviews. I'm using the latest app as of 1 minutes ago. So I can't make it newer than that. I'm sure you're working on it. Hopefully it's up and running before the US elections. But yeah looks nothing like the screenshots advertised
1 ★ App sucks. My mom said she had a pix star account and gave me her email. Chose a pic from my phone to send and it rotated the pic sideways with no way of me rotating it back. There is no way on the app for me to see what pics I sent. I'm going to just keep sending pics developed at Walgreen's and sending through the mail.
1 ★ still think this is pointless. Bring back the old app where I could view and manage my frame as well. I still think the old app was useful, this one isn't. Why not make both available as well? I have to take an old phone to show others pictures.
1 ★ The app can only be used to send pics, but I want to be able to control my frame, see pics sent, remove pics not wanted,... You can do this from the web page, but it loads extremely slow. App not helpful for frame owners just senders.
5 ★ 63 year old "grandma"...if you are a parent or grandparent, you should love this app! I know I do! I don't get to see my daughter & my grands as much as I'd like...this frame & app let me see their activities, basketball, dance & just day to day stuff I'd otherwise miss out on! I LOVE this app!!!
1 ★ Minimalist, works fine, but I find it ridiculous that there are ads in an app that is basically just a thin wrapper around sending an email to a device I purchased. You don't see Amazon slapping ads on Send to Kindle.
1 ★ This app is pointless. I figured i would be able to access my PixStar account and manage profile settings as you are able to from the website, but this app merely provide the user with a glorified method of emailing pictures to the frame.
1 ★ I cannot send the selected pictures to the frame. It doesnt show the send option when I select the frame, it used to, but now it doesnt. FIX YOUR APP.
1 ★ app is completely worthless unless you need to send sound files because apparently you cant do that through email. but this app is nothing more than an email sending app. i needed a way to manage the frame remotely
