Search by flight number, place name, airport, airline and aircraft or browse the map.
23 different plane markers are included and airline logos are displayed next to planes for easy identification.
Simply tap a plane to see detailed flight and aircraft information including photographs or tap an airport to see live arrivals and departures boards.
You can even use Augmented Reality (AR) view to identify planes overhead using your device camera.
Powerful and unlimited custom filters are free to use. You can create, save and name as many filters as you need for quick access to the planes you are interested in.
Add and browse bookmarks to saved locations around the globe to quickly navigate to areas or airports of interest.
Custom alerts are unlimited and unlocked via an In App Purchase, so you can take a break from watching the air traffic and let the app notify you when a plane is in the air or nearby.

Important Note:
Plane Finder works by picking up real time ADS‐B signals used by aircraft to transmit positional data to land based receivers. This technology is faster than traditional radar and is used for air traffic control and navigation. ADS‐B is not used by all airlines or aircraft, however this is changing and the number of aircraft tracked by ADS‐B is increasing all of the time. Traditional radar type data in near real time is also included for North America; this is subject to a short time delay.

2 ★ This was a good app until I realised how you neglect Android users and focus on iOS slot more, in comparison, the Android version is clunky, has very few added features, and is generally visually unappealing, which you find that the iOS version is none of these. Even the free version on the website has more functionality than this, I will change my review if you equalise the features between the mobile versions but until then I will NOT recommend this app
2 ★ not always accurate. aircraft map location sometimes miles away from current position. also tells you aircraft landed when still in the air..... Update Why does the app gives you warning of transponder 7700 when actually the aircraft is not on 7700 or has landed Same no improvement Perhaps too PF could identify large aircraft smaller ones and helicopter with a different bitmap?
5 ★ I have had the app for a fee years now and one thing that still gets me is when I am in my house and hear an airplane. I turn on this app and can easily tell what type of plane it is. Very fun to use this app. Thank you.
2 ★ Flights often cannot be found. My partner is on BA168 from Shanghai to Heathrow, but it cannot be found in the app! The flight number is definitely correct, and can be tracked on various websites, so I'm very disappointed. This isn't the first time I have been unable to find a flight in this app.
1 ★ Awful compared to ipad app version. Flights often missing information or cannot be found at all even though they are overhead and comparing the same app on the ipad which is right next to me it has full info available. Waste of money on android
