App permissions

PestRoutes Tech 1.23.0 APK requires following permissions:

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows an application to record audio.

Allows an application to read from external storage.

Allows an app to create windows using the type TYPE_APPLICATION_OVERLAY, shown on top of all other apps.

Allows an application to initiate a phone call without going through the Dialer user interface for the user to confirm the call.

Allows an app to access approximate location.

Allows an app to access precise location.

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Required to be able to access the camera device.

Allows access to the vibrator.

Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.

Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.

1 ★ This app crashes more than evil Knievel. I really wish pest routes would fix it.

1 ★ The tech routes setup is much less annoying to maneuver through than this field routes. Why not keep both instead of pushing to field routes only? The fact that this company decided to start a new product instead of fixing the issues with the old one is a clear sign of poor management.

1 ★ Slightly better then it's predecessor but still full of time consuming glitches. At least 10 times a day I have to close the app out and reopen it. At least a couple of times a day it locks up and won't let you do anything. Don't you dare use another app while you're using this or you'll have to restart field routes again. Overall it's an improvement from tech routes which is an absolute disaster but I still waste tons of time every day because this app is so glitchy.

1 ★ UI cluttered and clunky. Buggy with very little help from tech support. Can definitely tell that it was made for the computer first and the app second. To any employer looking at this app, you should fire the guy pushing the use of it.

1 ★ Slow as hell. I hate using it . I love the idea of having everything in one place , but if it crashes the features I need all the time what's the point. Time is money. It's been buggy since I downloaded it in Feb 2020.updated , updated and updated it , I still end up needing to use tech routes to add product notes in a reasonable time . Once tech routes goes away I assume this app will just get slower since everyone will need to be using it . A clip board will probably be faster

1 ★ This app is slow and buggy. I really dont like that there is almost a full 2 second delay when making selections and about 30 seconds or more after filling out the notes section before you can make any other selections. And i really would like to see the full bar highlighted whwn u select a target pest or location instead of the little check mark at the side of the screen. Switching to this app has really hurt my productivity since it takes more then ten minutes to fill out a service ticket.

2 ★ Very slow and very clunky. My phone can barely run it at all and it can run everything else just fine. Also there's a feature missing that I loved on Pestroutes where you could see a map view of every assignment that you had on your route, and that's not in this App. It feels like a big downgrade. But for what it is it's still useful and overall functional. The speed and lack of that map feature are serious detriments though. I'll change my rating once those get fixed.

1 ★ I'm not sure how I like this app as I am just now starting to use it I just started a new job with a pest control company & we use this app however the app is extremely slow it takes me forever to log into the app or to open up my next route & it takes forever to save anything it just all in all its very very slow! Every time I click on my next job it always ask me if I want to check in even after I have already checked in which causes issues bc I'll forget & end up checking in again

1 ★ This is supposed to be for active businesses that work outside. IT IS BY FAR THE WORST APP AVAILABLE! tiny tiny buttons, ridiculously drop down menu heavy, VERY slow, 100% made for an office with large monitors. WHY IN THE WORLD would a company release an app that sucks this bad? AND THEY CHARGE for it's software !! Please Please Please go out of business asap Update, App still is absolutely a pain! Feedback from about 40 technicians.

1 ★ App is unresponsive, ease of use is awful in comparison with Techroutes. It is an all around down grade in my opinion.

1 ★ I guess another way to cut costs is to hire people who aren't very good at creating an app, excellent business strategy
