1 ★ Really bad app, first you need to pay a minimum of $10 then you can throw money to the void if you choose quarter instead of all cycles which costs $1.50, that's separate from the dryer which also cost the same. Besides the rip off style of payments on this app, it's archaic since you can only pay but not start or do anything else, because even moniting the washer/dryer is always buggy and useless. In summery I wouldn't be using this disaster of an app and service!
4 ★ It wasn't super easy to figure out how to use the app, with the machine, so better instructions for new users would be a great idea. Also, the machine was pretty sparse for over a month, but they did eventually refill it. Decent selection, but more non sugary or starchy selections would be appreciated as well. Overall, a decent app/snack machine, and convenient. I like it.
2 ★ In concept, this app should be easy and convenient - but lately, whenever I use it, the app takes several minutes to launch. Then, once the app finally opens, I can be right next to a Payrange-enabled machine and the app spends what feels like several more minutes trying to locate it. Ridiculously and ponderously slow!
5 ★ It was a good idea. The only thing was that the it wants you to use the app the whole time your doing laundry. So when you're at home cleaning and doing other stuff. I would lose connection and it started to mess up the time. I'm sure it's a great app for big laundry mat or room but for a small apartment complex. With a very small laundry room with no place to fold clothes but on top of the dryer. It doesn't really work.
2 ★ The UI is terrible, customer service assistance is not direct and it's crazy that I have to refresh, reselect and add quarters 1 at a time. I should be able to add a larger/custom amount to a machine or at least not have it refresh each time I slide to add a quarter. I also keep having issues with the credit system actually crediting me the amount it says. Seems scamish
4 ★ The app works well and it's not too complicated. It seems like there are continuing to try to improve it. It could do a better job at locating the washers and the dryers. Also the notifications of when your load is almost done could be more accurate or they should let you customize the time. I would like to have mine set at 5 minutes before it finishes, for example. What I don't like is that they keep trying to push marketing garbage on you. I don't want to buy anything out of your app.
1 ★ This app doesn't let you cancel payment. When I used GPay it was sectioned between washers and dyers so you can easily identify which one you need. I jumped the gun and saw #10 on my screen and paid twice for it until I realized it was the dryer and not the washer I needed. I would have easily identified this was the dryer if I READ IT, but was so conditioned to the other app. However, it did not let me cancel my selection. With Gpay if you did not push the start button, it would time out and no
1 ★ 95% of the time, these machines will give me the hardest time to pay by phone. More often than not, I will have to uninstall the app and then reinstall. Doing laundry thru payrange certainly is NOT a time saver! Make sure you always carry coins! And BTW, I have fantastic wifi . All the residents at this complex have the same problem!
3 ★ First experience... and so far, not great. One machine took payment but wouldn't start. Never was an issue when it was coin. Hell, it even asked for coins on the screen. Money quickly refunded, so stars back for that. But now, with only two dryers available to us, 1 of 2 baskets of wet clothes waits for the cycle to finish.
5 ★ Pretty straight forward and easy to use. It's a prepay/auto reload system. When my apartment switched washing machine vendors without any notice, I was left with remaining balance on my account. I emailed them to inquire about getting a refund, explaining the situation. I received a quick response and was immediately given a refund. Great customer service. Thank you 🙏
3 ★ The app only works half the time. A lot of times I'm in laundry room for 20+ minutes trying to connect to machines. The newer features like ebt pay and pay on credit work even less than connecting to machines. However, even waiting 20+ minutes to connect is sometimes easier than getting quarters anymore. Do wish it would be more consistent though and the added pay features it says it offers actually worked.
1 ★ Takes far too long to detect machines. More concerning, however, is the fact that the app constantly turns on bluetooth even when I haven't used it in days. This is a security risk and drains battery life. The issue persists even after restarts, cache clearing, and even a factory reset. This is true even if I haven't opened the app since any of the above troubleshooting efforts. The app should enable Bluetooth *only* when it is being used.
1 ★ Convenient, but flaky. Sometimes it has to scan two or three times to find the machine the phone is sitting on. QR code reader doesn't always work. Neither does the option to enter the machine number. I've also had an error "the server is unreachable at this time." I still keep quarters as backup. It estimates the time left in the cycle, but is often wrong by about ten minutes.
2 ★ This app is great when it works well. However, it seems to frequently have bugs (especially with older phones). Following the last update, all seemed well... until the exact same issues started occurring again a few weeks later. Now I can't even open the app without it crashing my Bluetooth connection. I'm awaiting the next update to finally use the funds I've loaded in there, and then will be switching back to simply carrying cash :/
2 ★ My landlord makes us use this stupid app to pay for laundry. The UX/UI is very dated, it is slow, and on top of it, there's no option to add just a couple of bucks without paying a fee. The least amount you can add to your account is in $10 intervals, otherwise you have to select the "other" amount in the drop down menu and it charges you an extra $0.25 for anything less than 10! Seriously the ONLY thing keeping me from a 1 star rating is the fact that I don't have to go get change for laundry.
