Description
Use of the app is restricted to registered South Australian commercial fishers and a licence must be verified by Fishwatch for access via a 4 digit PIN. The app is supported by the Fishwatch call centre 24 hours a day.
The app features built-in lists of specific mandatory commercial fishing reports, plus additional reporting options allowing fishers to easily deregister vessels, report aquatic pests, report broken or lost tags and cancel or change existing reports. Previously submitted reports can also be retrieved for viewing.
Extra features include linking directly to the myPIRSA portal and to the PIRSA website for important notifications relating to South Australian commercial fishing rules and regulations.
The app also includes a ‘Help’ link to access a user-friendly help guide to assist with submitting reports.

1 ★ Problems: #1 app doesn't always work with no signal #2 forcing us to agree to the terms every time I want to login (we agree to the same thing everytime why not make it a one off thing). #3 alerts aren't built into the app and just redirect you to their website If the app wasnt rushed some thought would have been put into implementing a good alert system for fishermen by utilising the app to inform every fisherman.
