As you may know by now, GPS is often very inaccurate. So just because a scooter says it’s in one place, it might be somewhere else. We store the scooter’s GPS history so you can figure out other places it might be. This will also give you a heads up if the scooter is in a car and moving.

Allows an app to create windows using the type TYPE_APPLICATION_OVERLAY, shown on top of all other apps.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

Allows an app to access precise location.
Required to be able to access the camera device.
Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.

3 ★ Slow and glitchy. Map constantly has to be moved for Lime to show up, but I don't think that is entirely this apps fault because I have the same problem in Lime app. But this app can be very slow. Sometimes have to restart due to it being so slow seems frozen. But on the upside for bird it has been pretty helpful with filters and sometimes the GPS coordinates seem more accurate (might just be my imagination).
2 ★ Good idea, not executed properly. Bird scooters rarely populate on the map. Sometimes it will populate, then on the next data refresh they all disappear for 5-10 minutes. Same on phone as on webpage. Same on 3g/4g vs WiFi. Same on Firefox vs Chrome. Definitely something wrong with the backend querying to Bird. Bird makes up 70-80% scooters in my area, so this basically makes this app useleas.
3 ★ Needs to be able to move to storage. Too large for main memory. Fresh install shows 71mb after using it a few weeks it was around 150mb. Not 22. Other apps like Amazon, Autodesk sketch, Adobe draw, and many others allow a large portion to be moved to external storage.
2 ★ thr 2 stars is for the gps bug, not the chat! not at all hard to get from the google play services API, that is the Only way to grab all necessary gps info. btw, merely uninstall ing this app causes gps ti shut off. the bug is you arent using google play services to grab gos coords. you are instead falling back on the higlt innacurate use of cell tower ping, this is obvious frim the city button in basic chat.
1 ★ Nice idea, but just doesn't work. It takes far to long to load anything on the map. I only managed to load one city's scooters, and it wasn't even the city I was trying to load. It's a great idea, but the app needs a lot of work so they load up almost instantly...
4 ★ I didnt love this app at first because the icons all look the same for scooters, but its easy enough to figure out which is which. The only thing its really lacking for me are the scooter companies Tier and Hive. It'd be 5 stars with Tier and Hive added. Also, this app is better than the actual Bird app which never shows the locations.
2 ★ Questionable. Installed the app. Couple of hours later, went to collect scooters needing to be charged and have yet to see anything other than a white screen. Will uninstall and reinstall. Pity if it does not work out as I had high hopes for this app.
5 ★ it's good but I want it more accurate like how bout pinning whether the bird is being moved ridden or. being charged lost missing reported have the scooter map show this information. or even let us k ow if the bird will. be. capture blocked or if it has been damaged and recently repaired it will show how available the scooter is and how much of a probability at least for successful scanning and release. Thank you.
5 ★ best app ever and they just keep improving it. Victor, whom I believe is the developer is amazing. He is attentive and prompt with all my needs. I suggest if you havent downloaded app as a charger to do it and spend the 5 dollars a month to be a super charger. Its 110% worth it.
1 ★ Horrible, slow as molasses. Funtionality is no better, might be useful if it worked properly. Waste of money, emailed to stop subscription but was billed regardless scooter maps then contacts me the day after billing occurs and tells me to cancel through Google Play store.

1 ★ Can't do nothing with this app, its slow & glitches dramatically. Keeps starting me in California. It only shows Bird scooters no lime scooters, it doesn't have navigation to get to a certain scooter, can't mark it missing, picked up, doesn't have the battery life anywhere, someone help me out😩😫😖😵😲😑😶
5 ★ Loving the filters, and Night mode (kinda wish it would save the filters when I exit), and notifications are very handy. Once the ability to harvest with a code is added i'll be using scootermap exclusively! Being able to ring a nearby scooter would be super handy also
2 ★ I'm not going to create an account to test if an app works. There should be an option for continue without signing in, or at least a trial period. If that option becomes available I'll try it out. It's a great idea for both riders and chargers.
2 ★ Not happy with this app, I've tried to scan scooters and kerp getting unable to scan please try again. I've uninstalled reinstall, I've sent emails and doesn't seem like the developer knows why. . I'm in Louisville KY and why does it show Bloomington not sure why. . .Cant see current scooters on the chargers in the app like Lime. How do I know if they're fully charged. Lime says to go off their app not the scooter. I've been charged $5 for this app and don't know if it helps any. lots of issues
