3 ★ The app works pretty decently but there's no option to save your personal information for future use which makes concurrent ticket purchases a bit tedious. Unrelated to the app, their baggage fees if your bag is over weight can cost more than the price of your ticket. At the time I'm writing this the allowed combined weight is 10kg for any ticket except their most expensive option. The thing that made me angry was that I was stopped as I was about to board the plane and forced to pay.
1 ★ Whenever I click add booking, the app crashes. I reinstalled it, but it still keeps crashing. There does not appear to be any way to check in in browser. So I suppose I will have to check in at the airport. When I flew Norwegian last time, before Covid, there was no such issue. PS: I have a Samsung Galaxy s9 edge without other issues, this is isolated to the Norwegian app. Other airline apps work fine.
1 ★ There is a fault both with this app and the mobile web page, that doesn't occur on the main computer web page. If you try to change a flight it does not allow you to select a date earlier than the date you have booked. For example I have a flight booked for Dec 14th but need to change it to Dec 1st. However on both the app and Android website it will only allow me to book dates after the 14th, not before. Days earlier cannot be selected. However, using the website on a computer this isn't an issue.
1 ★ I'm unable to add my passport information in the app. I eventually gave up and saved it the profile via the Norwegian Air website. However the app requires you to approve your passport information before allowing you to check in. As I'm unable to save the info, it's now impossible for me to check in electronically. Absolutely terrible.
4 ★ Very well designed application which does what is intended for. Highly recommended if you you're a Norwegian frequent flyer. The only annoying is that if you make a flight search, switch to another app and return back again to the Norwegian app, it will clear the last search result and will return you back to the initial search page. If they fix that, it will become an excellent app.
4 ★ Works very well expect some small UX features that could be better such as: app allows you to check in for flights that actually only allow you to check it at the airport. I even could download the travel. Document and was lucky enough to realize there was no Barcode on them...some airports don't allow you in without one.
1 ★ I hate that every time i have to check in i must enter my passport information this should be linked to my profile. When there are multiple travellers on the same booking it is really easy to check in as someone else. Working out who hasn't scanned their boarding pass is a chore. Battery usage is still on the high side as well.
3 ★ The app randomly signs me out, which is specially inconvenient in the middle of a booking process when you want your prefilled information easily at hand. Normally get an error code and asked to continue the prosess later. I end up using the website for booking rather than the app. The look and layout of the app is nice and showing your ticket is easy. The booking process is also nice, when it works flawlessly.
1 ★ I'm always skeptical about one star reviews, but not in this case. The worst app i have ever tried. Couldn't log in. Got a reset password ... it didn't work. Continued without logging in, with my booking reference. App retrieved only the first of two flights. Just unbelievable.
1 ★ Useless App. You have to manually add your trips which is a hassle or risk signing up and getting overwhelmed with spam email. Notifications for your flight are late or non-existent. And worst of all it is extremely difficult to check into your flight on this app. Don't bother downloading this app.
1 ★ This airline is a fraud. They book your flights and consistantly cancel last minute. The app doesnt work in order to rebook the flight and customer service is rude and I'll trained. I never reccomend flying this airline. There are better companies than one that does not care for customer service. They do not deserve any stars but I need to voice my discontent to anyone with options to fly on any other airline. Must also be aware that Norwegian does nothing to communicate and fix their issues.
1 ★ Several times now this app has either logged me out and been unable to log me back in or failed to check in and given me a generic error code. It's unreliable and gives you no useful information when it fails. I nearly missed a flight because it stopped working just before boarding and I had to download a new boarding card in my browser.
2 ★ The application returns error while I try to check in for an hour at least. Is it that impossible to indicate straight away that the service is down, e.g., due to maintenance? In case it just doesn't work, remove a star from my rating.
1 ★ I am missing the ability to pick the currency of choice. The system forces me to use currencies fixed to app language settings. I use English in setting and would like to use NOK. Meanwhile, the app forces me to use EUR. One star only due to that stupidity in the design. Otherwise would be 4-5 stars.
1 ★ Horrible service, Flight cancled 1 hour before take off and when we were supposed to get a rebook the customer service felt that there were too many people and closed and made us wait in a Call line to be able to rebook when they had helped people before us. In adition to when we got our new flight 8 hours later, that flight also got delayed 2 hours when there were flights going to the same destination that werent delayed nor cancled. I would HIGHLY recommend using a different company when flyn
