Download the latest Komp application, version 2.16.2, compatible with Windows 10/11 (using emulators such as Bluestacks), Android devices. This free Social app is developed by No Isolation and is easy to download and install.
Previous versions, including 2.16.2, 2.16.0, are also available. If you need help or have any problems, please let us know.
Description
When you open the app, you have to enter the KOMP’s keyword. If this is the first time starting KOMP, the keyword will be visible on the screen. You will have to be nearby KOMP to configure it. If KOMP is already configured, you will have to be invited to get access to it.
You can use this app to send photos, text messages, and start video calls.
App permissions
Komp 2.16.2 APK requires following permissions:

3 ★ After uploading a picture from the camera roll, you have to start scrolling from the top every time. I would prefer to be able to continue in the camera roll where I left off. This would make it easier to go back to months old pictures. Would also like to be able to upload more than one picture at once.
5 ★ Was installed for an elderly relative at start of year. First thing others ask 'can they handle technology?' but they don't have to. Especially wonderful during Co-vid times. I have recently shown relative seaside, spectacular sunsets and walked around my accommodation. I have posted 'travels' from old holidays (pics on phonne) this as distraction and something to talk about. Doesn't need a lot to read. Sometimes I do intro page of words first. Brilliant. I always recommend you.
4 ★ This is a fantastic idea! The ability to talk to my grandparents is priceless. Thank you so much for that. Only missing feature: giving the owner of the device the opportunity to call or, at least, to send a request to be called.
5 ★ We bought a Komp for my mum. It's been a gamechanger whilst she was in a nursing home during Covid and we weren't able to visit. The komp meant she could be independent & have privacy because we didn’t have to rely on staff to help with an ipad which would've been too complicated for her to use. Easy to use, mum doesn't have to do anything. My kids love sending her msgs and pics from their devices. It has exceeded expectations & made mum's life so much more bearable during this horrible time.
4 ★ Just started using this, the video is great but the audio keeps cutting out during a video call and have emailed the company for advice. Its great being able to send pictures and messages though.
5 ★ Thanks for the latest update. Much better now with the Google photo integration and crop functionality. Much easier to find and edit older imager. Now a perfect app. 😁
4 ★ Great for keeping in touch but I really need to be able to upload photos stored on Google photos. Hardly any save on my phone.
4 ★ We are really valuing the Komp service during lockdown. Would it be possible to allow images to be shared to the Komp using Android's Share button like you can share to Facebook, WhatsApp etc?

2 ★ Flott konsept, men appen imponerer ikke. Med min forrige telefon ble jeg logget ut dersom jeg åpnet appen og dekningen ikke var så god. Ekstremt irriterende, må skrive inn kode fra sms for å logge inn igjen. Må har jeg en oneplus 9 pro, der får jeg bare "an error ocurred" så fort jeg åpnet appen. Det lar seg heller ikke gjøre å dele bilder fra andre apper, man må åpne komp appen. Man kan heller ikke velge tid bilde skal vises etter å ha skrevet tekst??
1 ★ Bilder kan kun legges ut i liggende format. Hvis man legger på tekst fyller det uforholdsmessig mye av bildet. Man kan ikke velge posisjon eller størrelse på tekst (kun veldig grovt). Appen fryser ofte. Virker som et betaprodukt. Skulle vært mulig å slå av notifikasjoner og bare fått en teller på ikonet som viste antall nye oppdateringer.
