HOW IT WORKS:
1. Pick a key to start playing the track.
2. Tap 'Chords' to see what chords are being played (rhythm)
3. Tap 'Scales' to see the scale charts for that key (lead)
CHANGE THE STYLE AT ANY TIME!
PRACTICE TIPS:
Learn the chord progression for each track, and then jump over to practicing scales. Guess what? There are only 5 'shapes' of a scale to memorize! Once you know them up and down, learn where they start for each key. Soon, you'll be able to solo like a pro.
TIPS FOR THE SCALE CHARTS:
- Black dots are regular notes.
- Red dots are 'root notes'. These are notes of the key you are in.
- Blue dots are 'passing notes'. Including these notes puts you in a Blues mode.

5 ★ The app is awesome. The only negative thing I can say about it.... I wish you could change time signatures.
1 ★ No internal chord library. There are other apps that do the same thing and have a library.

5 ★ This app is the single best investment I have made in my musical education in 20 years. When you consider how much money guitar players spend on our gear, from a new axe to amps, PUPs, to pedals, and boards the cost of this app is a drop in the bucket. Don't let a few dollars stand in the way of progress. This team does great work. PERIOD. I bought some of the extra jam packs and came across a bug. I reported it to the dev team and had a response and the issue was fixed a few days later. 10 Stars!!!
5 ★ Got the Midnight Blues recently and am thoroughly enjoying it !! The ability to develop creative expression through jamming is worth every penny. The Jam Tracks Scale Buddy on a whole is extremely useful. It has helped me get out of a creative rut by helping me take my guitar playing to a whole new level :-) I would highly recommend this app to anyone who wants to put excitement back into practicing. Cant wait to see what else Ninebuzz has planned for this app!
5 ★ For the price of a latte you get a great app for practicing. I have this on my iPad and my Galaxy S5. Works perfect. Change of tempo would be nice. I use my bass with the tracks as well and run through scales. 30 years ago, I used a metronome to practice bass scales-it was boring as a lint biscuit. To me, this is light years beyond that. 5 years ago I bought a full DVD guitar course for $200. Great course, took me a long way, but it's not portable. This is on my phone and it rocks. Great tool for practice.
4 ★ Excellent app for practising scales/licks.. Only problem i have is that the chords given dont always match the backing track. Also, it would be killer if we could feed in our own chord progression. Thank you NINEBUZZ! Its an awesome tool :)
