4 ★ Easy to navigate and use.

1 ★ Terrible app. Classic was bad enough, they made it far worse. I use the e-journal view. 1-8-21: Getting worse. Used to lock up and need a forced stop to recover, at least once a day. Now even a forced stop, clear cache, clear data does not recover. Instead, I need to reboot the tablet to continue to read the news. Sometimes that does not work either. Unfortunately no good alternative. Browser version on tablet unusable. Pretty soon I will need to cancel. I cannot complete the paper on any day without mounds of frustration. Today all methods failed to restart. Even removing and re-installing the app. TERRIBLE app

2 ★ The app is terrible, and littered with ads even if you are a subscriber. Using reader view in a browser is the best experience for reading articles, without reader view the website is unuseable because of ads and pop ups...

1 ★ Unable to login to my account and subscribe to the journal newspaper, very unhappy with the app and account!

1 ★ Using on standard Android tablet. Paper takes several seconds per page to resolve screen resolution. Hard to size pages to read. If you page too quickly it crashes. Going back to the classic version until this one gets fixed. My advice if you haven't "upgraded" to this version- don't bother. Update. Classic no longer available. I changed to a Samsung tablet and as of the last app update 1.13.2020 the Journal app won't load at all. I borrowed a Google tablet still bad. I'm done with this!

2 ★ My S8 was upgraded to pie (Android 9.0) yesterday and this Journal app no longer works. There were issues before, but at least it was usable. Google says this app wasnt updated since July 4, 2018 so I'm guessing there is no more development of this app. Sad when i pay for digital subscription, so i may have to end it. l'm guessing Journal is short on funds for app development? Edit: after several restarts, it now starts up, but very slowly.

1 ★ The original app was far superior to this current app. It randomly shuts down or loads the wrong article or doesn't load at all. Today was the last straw as it continually closed while I was reading it. After the 6th attempt to read it, I gave up. Wanted to warn anyone considering using this app. Now I'm going to call in & not renew my subscription.

3 ★ It is harder to get to the e-replica in this new version. The zooming and redraw are glitchy. Certain blocks of the page will remain blurry or with slight offsets to the rest of the page. The only remedy seems to be hitting refit and zooming back in. Downloading new versions is less intrusive than previous version. However I would prefer having a setting where it would download the e-replica automatically everyday without me having to tap on anything.

1 ★ I cancelled my daily print edition of the Abq Journal because of sloppy delivery & poor customer service. I decided to try their eJournal version. Was OK with the Android app I was using. Needed a new phone... had to downloaded this current app. It sucks!!! I logged in.... won't open. Seens like the Abq Journal has a death wish. Get it together!!!!!

2 ★ Was good before pop up adds. And I'm a paying subscriber. This will be the last time I will stay subscribed.

5 ★ I love getting local news in a quick easy to read format.

1 ★ New update stinks! Trying to scroll through the different articles is infuriating. You can't touch your phone screen without opening an article or ad. The old layout, while plain was so much better and easier to use.

2 ★ On my Samsung Note 5, the new version stalls just like the old one. When I open the the crossword puzzle and zooms in, it often stalls or doesn't do anything. Often, I have to restart my phone to work but not all times it fixes it.

1 ★ Dies almost. Every time u use it.. and just try to step through the comics... Does not matter where u start u can't step through them in order... No order makes sense.. focus is bad.. no response from publisher.. in short.. THE WORST APP I HAVE EVER USED... But I have no choice..because the app that worked.. abq journal classic.. they removed and discontinued... Still bad after new update... i see no differance..
