1 ★ Doesn't work. Does nothing. Scanning for wifi networks just spins on "loading" and nothing ever happens. Nothing on any other tabs does anything. I'm running android updated to may 2020 and ALL my hardware is Netgear (cable modem, wifi router, extender)
3 ★ Yeah, shows signal strenth and really nothing else. I thought it was supposed to be able to change modem settings as my device is pretty much always on the busiest chanel.
1 ★ The app has not been updated to work with newer Android versions so I'm not able to do anything with the app, yet the Netgear Wifi Extender tells me I need to download this app in order to manage the extender.
1 ★ Not updated in SIX years. Warning about not working with latest version of Android on my phone (updated July, 2020). Useless.
1 ★ The app has not been updated since 2014!! On installing it actually displays a message saying that the app is not compatible with the present Android version!
3 ★ No instructions on how to use. I wanted an app that measured the signal on my network and kept a record so I can prove to the ISP the signal drops just long enough to cause problems with working from home. If it is capable is anyone's guess. I have 3 stars because it seems to do something.
5 ★ I've never even owned a Netgear router but I love this app and use it for all sorts of things when I'm tweaking my network.
1 ★ Does not work. Just turns and does not load. Needs an update. Update this terrible app. Does no good to download it.
1 ★ It is garbage! Does NOT find any networks even when the system is using the network.
1 ★ Requires location and storage permissions to work? No thanks!!! Shady app... Probably spyware. Uninstalling now.
5 ★ Works great under Android 10 on my Samsung A20, so I can't understand someone's claim that this does not work under Android 10.
2 ★ Finally got the app to actually do something but very inaccurate on signal strength reading and that's basically all the app does and probably has something to do with NO UPDATES SINCE 2014 so I'm uninstalling.
5 ★ This is a great app for debugging WiFi problems. Not sure why it hasn't been updated recently... but its great just the same. Also, not sure why it doesn't exist in Apple's app store... told a friend about it but he couldn't locate it.
4 ★ Troubleshooting Tip: If you are connected to a wi-fi network and the app says you are not connected, make sure you have Location services enabled on your device. I had to enable Location services on my Android 10 phone for the app to work.
1 ★ This was a great app on older Android versions. PLEASE update. Not for Android 6, 7, 8, 9, 10.
