1 ★ The new update is just as difficult. I tried to upload a bunch of mobile receipts at once and it clustered them all together as though it was one receipt. I'm trying to figure out how to separate them to be individual receipts but I can't figure out how. So stressful! I don't know if I have to go back in just submit each mobile receipt and import them one by one just so they upload as an individual. The last two years using this app has been so complicated with the updates.
5 ★ This app is so easy to use now that I can just use my finger print. When I'm picking up supplies, it's not unusual for me to loose a receipt or two. That ads up over 365 days. W/the new app, I can easily & quickly scan the app, & choose the folder it needs to go into. My kids swear I have ADD, & they could be right. This helps me to stay organized, before I get sidetracked into the next task or 10. Just imagine how much it will help U if you don't have the attention span of a 3 yr old.
1 ★ Multiple issues thus far: 1. I can no long view my folders. I like to navigate to a particular folder, then scan items into that folder. I do not want to import to a general area without a way to move items to their proper folder. 2. There is no option to use the phone's flash for scanning. 3. The auto-scan did not accurately capture the images. I would still like the option to resize the image before saving. Hopefully we will still get to use the old app past 30 June (i.e. do not retire).
1 ★ What a downgrade. It has a third of the functionality of the old app without any improvements that I can see. No way to lock the app with a PIN or biometric login. It always starts at scan page, no matter what, so I always have to go through the motions to get to my current folder. In item "Edit" mode it presents a tiny fraction of fields. I can't even modify the payment type, let alone add notes. While the rest of the world goes mobile, Neat wants to force its clients to use browser on desktop.
1 ★ This app is way more buggy than the old one. Currently unable to take snapshots consecutively, I have to close the app and reopen each receipt. Also, an option to manually choose the border of the receipt should be included, the auto sizing is hit or miss, even on a dark background, some receipts have black bars printed that get picked up as the edge incorrectly
3 ★ This app is not professional at all. It is easy to use but I dont like the UI. It needs a professional feel to it but still be easy to use. I like the service but I think it is expensive and for the price I want a better App. Some commands can be confusing and difficult to understand. But whats holding me back from using Neat is not the App but the price
1 ★ While this app may work for a business, I did not order the new app, but they are taking out 19.99 a month in a subscription fee, which I had told their phone representative I wanted canceled, as I no longer needed nor desired to use. Really not sure how they got my new bank account number as I did not provide it to the representative when I was talking with them. As a side issue, there is no way to cancel it on this app either. This is a scam and should be ashame of them selves!
1 ★ I expected an app that would allow me to scan receipts and classify them IRT to stay ahead of bookkeeping, rather than duplicating efforts by "matching" then classifying whenever tge information reaches your bank. This app does nothing your phone can't already do with a decent (cheaper) PC-based accounting packages, which are far more streamlined. Their tech support is prompt, but their claims of AI and accounting integration are way overstated. I'll be canceling my subscription. I
5 ★ I used the legendary neat receipts and loved it! My laptop crashed, so I had to upgrade everything! I have found the new receipts app easy to use, and very efficient! I love the fact that I can get my receipts by using the mobile app as well as my laptop! No more waiting until I get home to scan all those little pieces of paper! For my very small business, this is the best!!!
2 ★ Taking photos of the receipts rarely works. Frustrating experience. Have to take a pic with my phone photo app and then pull up the neat app and import. We need to have the option to turn off the auto snap shot of the receipt, doc, etc. When it has worked would have to take several snap shots to get one that is importable.
5 ★ This app is very helpful and true it can upload or take pics and it does the work for u and u can doo this with bills. Receipts. Contacts. Checks. Statements. Invoices. Docs. Mileage. Anything. Very helpful app. 👌 just an app where u can save and have all your stuff there for whenever u might need. Save paper and just upload and save that way

1 ★ Just as Neat fixes some problems they launch a new version that creates them all over again. This version removes the ability to edit fields in receipts and the scanner is "fully automated" with out flash or stabilization. It's horrible. This is an app that I depend on for business and yet again they've completely broken it.
1 ★ Neat is a company with a horrible business model. With the light/basic plans they have designed their system to give errors on the OCR process and claim 80% accuracy. They do this to force an upgrade to the premium. They should give proper OCR and limit the scans rather than make errors on purpose. There are much better platforms available. Do not use or subscribe to Neat. I have now cancelled my account and migrated all my data back to my drive.
1 ★ When I try to capture a photo of an item, it starts to process, then goes back to the main screen to capture it import. The picture I took is not saved anywhere. I've tried clearing the app cache, and tried reinstalling. It still fails.
