News-Press NOW 7.0.478 APK requires following permissions:

Allows an app to access approximate location.

Allows an app to access precise location.

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.

Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

Allows access to the vibrator.

Required to be able to access the camera device.

2 ★ Used to open weather and it had a link to the live camera on the building as well as radar. Why did you take those features off? And now has to many Fox adds! Weather vids are choppy....but adds aren't lol. Used to be a cool app...now not so much. Plus it looks like a grade school level of spelling, cmon get with it!

1 ★ Is biased. Local news is good, but outside that.... is biased and makes me cringe. I'll keep watching (is my favorite broadcast), but do take with a grain of salt.

3 ★ The app is pretty good except the college sports section is saturated with stories of Wisconsin, Arizona, BYU etc and no mention of local schools like Kansas State, Kansas, Nebraska, Missouri Western or Northwest Missouri State. I guess you have to get the newspaper to read about them.

2 ★ I was able to read all stories and articles just fine yesterday and now, all of a sudden you have to pay to read some of the articles and stories. ... what's up with that. If I wanted to pay to read the paper then I would buy one.
