Description
The Official App for Consumer by Mahavitaran ( M.S.E.D.C.L.). Mahavitaran Consumer App enables consumers to avail Mahavitaran services at his/her fingertips. The app is simple and easy to use. It provides transparency in delivering services to consumers.

►Functionalities available in Mobile App :
1.Apply for new connection : Apply for New Electricity Connection in just 4 steps
2.Track New Connection Request : Status of New Connection application can be tracked using unique Application Id and estimate charges can be paid
3.Submit Reading : Submit own meter reading along with meter photo to avoid average billing, after receipt of SMS from Mahavitaran. Mahavitaran will send SMS, if meter reading is not made available by meter reader
4.Feedback: Submit ratings of Mahavitaran services in the scale of 1 to 5, where 5 means Outstanding and 1 means poor service
5.View/Pay Bill: View and Pay Electricity Bills using different payment options like
a.Net banking
b.Debit Card
c.Credit Card
d.Cash Cards
e.Mobile Wallets

6.Update Contact details: Update Mobile Number,E-Mail ID & AadharCard No. of consumer
7.Register & Track Complaint: Register & Track Power Failure and Billing Complaints etc

9.Add & Remove connection: Manage multiple electricity connections from registered account.
10.Customer Care: Call 24*7 MSEDCL Call Center
11.Nearest Locations : Find MSEDCL offices and collection centers near you
12.Estimate consumption and bill amount : Estimate consumption in KWH by providing details about usage of appliances. Also, know the approx. monthly bill amount for that estimate.
13.Get Information about the Feeder : Feeder is a line which transfers power to the consumer through a transformer. Know technical details about this feeder and outages planned in the future, if any.
14.Report Power Theft : Inform any suspected electricity theft activity in your area
15.Apply for change of name: Submit application for changing the registered name of electricity connection
16.Add/Reduce Load: Submit application for increasing/decreasing the load of electricity connection

Mahavitaran 11.00 APK requires following permissions:

Required to be able to access the camera device.
Allows an app to access approximate location.
Allows an app to access precise location.
Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.
Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.

1 ★ nice and very easy but no action against the complain. I have complained about high bill, but after two month also no one came to see the complaint. If you are not taking care of any complaint then announce that this app is only for paying the bill. Remove all other services options from the app those are use less.
1 ★ Nothing more than a useless worst app If there is a power failure in your area & you raise complaint it will be just assigned not resolved , then automatically light will come after 7-8 hrs & then you have to go on app & just click on "Closed" !! Means complaining is of no use bcoz you get no response from MSEDCL !! Worst app of power failure complaints !!
2 ★ Since last few months instead of physical reading they are sending average reading which is much more than actual ussage and if we opt to submit self reading through App then by every end of month Mahavitran app is displaying only one message "Unable to connect,try after some time" .This App doesnt work last week of every month, It seems this is done purposely to hrash customers.
1 ★ Only good for meter reading and payment, complaints never get any response or action. All in all this app was created just to reduce their workload not to help the customers.
1 ★ App is good, but if a complaint is lodged through it, no action taken. Main junction box's, in front of our plot, door is broken since last 7 months & its complaint lodged 7 months back, but still no action taken, it's dangerous as small children can touch those live cables, please fix it.
1 ★ Worst App. The complaints are never addressed. These government run app is so like the government. Irresponsible and ignorant. I could have given 0 stars but since there is no option, it has to be 1 star
2 ★ Not able to upload documents for changing/correcting name . It's been almost a year when i had applied for name change and still there is no improvement. Disappointed.
4 ★ App is great. But the service of electricity board is pathetic. Meter display is not working since a couple of months now, but the complain has not been looked upon.
1 ★ If no one is looking after the complaints raised by the customer why is such option provided? The app should provide prior notifications in case of power cut. Many people are working from home and it will be helpful to them.
5 ★ 5 Star for App only, App was Good, useful, but as customer service from Mahavitaran is very bad, every day light was down in New Panvel, Adai Village, need permenant solution, need to upgrade, need quality of serice, required competative service.
1 ★ The app is very good for paying lightbill and for complaints they promptly reply by call back for closing registerd complaint. But they never do anything to resolve the complaint. But I have still hopes so doing complaint weekly for changing my meter which is not working due to this I am not able yo give my flat on rent loosing 8000 per month. I also requested by attending local Dn office at kalyan but no use also requested to give me lump sum bill Rs 800 per month so that I can rent out flat
2 ★ This update comes with a problem..eveytime i open the app it shows netwrk not avlbl chk your connection or wifi even though i am connected to speedy wifi..this update shows bug fixes...it has come with a new bug...pls solve the issue asap. I always prefer not to update this app bcoz every update has a new problem.

1 ★ I have registered multiple complaints about my meter readings. My meter is functional but readings are not updated month on month. Continuously showing meter faulty from last 7_8 months. I register complaint online and also to local authority still no corrective action
1 ★ I am giving this 1 star bcoz there is no option to give 0....In app, even single feature doesn't work properly. Complaint section is for formality. No one attend the complaint as we have to file complaint again in local office. Worst app ever.
