Moto Voice for Alexa 02.1.098 APK requires following permissions:

Allows an application to record audio.

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.

1 ★ Every few months it stops working. I have to uninstall it for several days and then reinstall it. Super annoying.

4 ★ I like having this on my x4. A lot of complaints by others, about lack of features such as reminders and music. This is unfortunate but I don't think it's a reflection of the app. Amazon doesn't allow any of those features except on Echo speakers, probably because if they did, people wouldn't have an incentive to buy the Amazon Echo devices to get access to full Alexa functionality. So yeah, I think this app is great.

3 ★ When I first received my Alexa Moto mod, I had to download this app. At first it worked perfectly. Should have turned off the updates and left it alone. Every update took away functionality. The last update essentially killed it's usefulness. Now it does nothing. I cannot play music or anything. I could only do stupid things like all Alexa if it could search for something in Amazon. I could just do it myself. Why do I need to clip this thing on my phone to do it? And as for having Alexa as a virtual assistant? Every other virtual assistant is better from my experience.

1 ★ Im trying to finish set up for moto voice for alexa, but it always says, "find a quite place and the enrollment will start automatically." I have been trying this at a very quiet place since i have received the update but still its showing the same message. Kindly share me, why this is happening and what is the solution for this error. Thank you.

2 ★ Moto z3 Play * Android 9/Pie So wanna love Moto Voice, but this app is sparse and strippeddown from former versions. Does not respond to wake word, must tap icon, so not handsfree. No handsfree calls either. Would prefer to customize wake word. Also no voice control of camera to take pics or video, really sucks. Camera cannot be controlled by Google Assistant, either. Does read and responds to texts over bluetooth, which is pretty great. *Outdated and frustrating.

3 ★ I love Alexa. My whole house is automated. I have a Show, two Dots, and a Flex. The speaker works nicely, but the Alexa end of it is glitchy. Alexa pops up asking for clarification for no reason constantly, or she answers questions never asked. The Moto speaker and Moto Alexa is the only thing I have any problems with.

2 ★ I don't use this app much, I use Amazon Alexa or Ultimate Alexa. This one Alexa is stupid and has a bad attitude. She will not for the life of me play any consecutive music. She will play 1at a time and then shut down. She doesn't know anything about anything I ask her, and says she doesn't have access to launch most commands. I have it just for Moto purposes

1 ★ The new update completely broke the app. It doesn't respond at all now even after uninstalling and clearing the app storage and cache. It worked perfectly before. The ability to mute the microphone on the moto mod is also seemingly gone? This was extremely useful for me before the update. EDIT: it's still completely useless and non functional. Reverted to the old 1.xxx apk and its back to having actual value. They need to fix it.

4 ★ I have a Moto G7 with Alexa built in. Had to uninstall the Alexa app on my Moto G7 then reinstall it for this app to work. When you uninstall it it really isn't uninstalled. Just update it then this app should work. Before the swap out you could say Alexa as much as you wanted and it would never respond. The notification would pop up but no response from Alexa. Now it works like it's supposed to even on the lock screen.

2 ★ 7.15 if i continue to say Alexa over and over pausing between words she sometimes wakes. Sometimes she wakes and shuts right back off. 6.25 Phone Z4 will not allow Alexa to work. Alexa respond by nice for the first few minutes then nothing until i toggle the controls. i bought this for Alexa. Can activate Alexa by touch but that's not why i switched phones. oh if it works, it works great.

1 ★ Doesn't respond to my voice 90% of the the. Restarted my phone, did the Moto "Alexa' voice training, and the Alexa app voice recognition phrases successfully. Then when it comes to trying it out she (Alexa) doesn't respond. Obviously there's a bug that needs to be fixed in the product. Very disappointed in it. ☹️

5 ★ amazing! with this moto mod you will be the envy of every person with a regular boring galaxy or iPhone. the speaker on this is awesome. just say a song and it will play! arm your security system, turn on/off lights, listen to Netflix with superb television like sound, get weather/news updates. Motorola/lenovo is a creative company. will get a z phone for as long as they have them... hopefully 4ever!

4 ★ This is has become a must have app for me. I use the Alexa functionality literally every day. I do wish it had all the features my home echo does (especially calling.... It is on my phone after all) but even with these omitions it's still a fantastic addition to my Moto phone and is one of the many reasons I'm sticking with Motorola.

5 ★ This is better than the previous version. I love how they integrated alexa on the quick action panel on Android 9 update for moto x4. The alexa display cards are latest, seems like a mobile display of amazon echo show. Unlike the Android 8 version, it felt and looked so different. This is really a big improvement for moto x4 users.

2 ★ Spoiler alert: No equalizer. That's the only reason I got this app. Why else would I? The only redeeming function of the Alexa Moto Mod was it's speaker, which seems to be deliberately tuned poorly, so an official equalizer would actually be useful. Instead, we get a useless app for a defunct mod.
